Asriel glared at Sparks. "Who are you, and why are you following us?" He asked and stayed still. He wasn't going to trust this Pokemon without getting an explanation and introduction.

"I'm Sparks and I don't knoooow!" He truthfully didn't know why he was following the two of them. He meant no harm, though, and wouldn't fight them, as they seemed nice.
I mostly go on Smogon and Twitter nowadays.

soon the thing that saved Tyr jumped at Oichi's path. The foggy was blocking its torso, but there was a glowing rainbow on its head. Flowers were blooming with its presence.

Oichi looks down at the ravine. She 'jumped' down but didn't touch the water but just floated above it. She soon started to follow the figure again, forgetting about the mission to find the lakes.

Sparks didn't hesitate to respond, but it was out of fear. "I had nothing else to do and it just happened! I'm sorry!"

Even though Sparks did seem to have the advantage against Notip, Asriel could have taken the other on. He was a Grass - Normal type, his grass side could take on electric type moves. He was going to protect Notip even they got into a fight with this Pokemon.
