What's your Favorite Anime and Character?
Forum-Index → General Discussion → What's your Favorite Anime and Character?Please, let me hug you and love you and such? Please? :B I think that was the first anime that truly made me cry while feeling something strange. Considering it was one of the first anime I watched, after...Detective Conan, FullMetal Alchemist and FMA Brotherhood, Ao no Exorcist, Code Geass and Madoka Magica.
Soo anime uh?
Shirokuma Cafe -> Comedy with animals acting like humans wins, wins. Shirokuma is so pretty, and Grizzly too.
I also like SAO, but I watched recently Log Horizon, and I don't know which to pick. I really love SAO's first part, I didn't like the second game part that much, while I loved Log Horizon's characters, specially Nyanta and Akatsuki. I can't resist a knight gentlecat who is a chef, or an assassin :3
Danganronpa was such a nice one, mainly because I couldn't play the game; in love with Kirigiri.
Magi the Labyrinth (Kingdom in the second season) of Magic! -> I was already kinda obsessed with the amazing manga. I started reading it when it was about chapter 100 or so, now it's at 219, airing on Mondays and the second season of the anime is about to end this Sunday. I love most characters, but specially Yunan, Scheherezade and all fanalis, specially Morgiana <3
And well, I have to mention Assassination Classroom, that has an OVA, but it's mainly a manga, with about 80 chapters if I remember properly, airing on any-time-of-the-week. Basically no-sense comedy about killing a teacher who is a yellow octopus who can fly at 20 times the speed of the sound, and that wants to explode the Earth after doing the same with the moon :3 His name is Korosensei, and I definitely love him (you see in the manga that he is not exactly the kind of "evil bad boy")
Finally, I'm currently watching Fairy Tail. Sorry, I'm not in love with Natsu, I'm in love with Erza x'D
Characters I like? Hmmm, I didn't really like any of the characters in Death Note, though I did agree with L's ideology more than anybody else's so I guess him?
As for Attack on Titan I did like Mikasa and Armin.
For Digimon I like the creatures, not the people so much.
Soul Eater: Definitely Crona. A genderless character, I know, but to me Crona is a boy. He sounds like a boy, looks like one - in my mind he is a boy. xD At first I found him a little annoying, especially when he was first introduced as a villain. But seeing where he came from and where his character development went, I couldn't help but find a soft spot for him. Especially with his friendship with Maka, and how much faith he had in her. <3 Death the Kid and Soul are two close seconds.
Wolf's Rain: I honestly love them all, though Cheza grated on my nerves with how useless she was most of the time. All in all, I'd have to say it's a dead tie between Hige and Toboe. Hige has that personality that I'm instantly interested in, and Toboe is so sweet that it's impossible for me not to love him.
FLCL (Fooly Cooly): Haruko. Definitely Haruko! She is, hands down, the best female anime character I have ever seen. I typically hate female anime characters, since they tend to either be overly weak or overly rude in an attempt to not look like a weak character. Haruko is a ball of heartwarming, hilariousness, strength, and overall "What the heck am I watching??"
One Piece: Don't really care for the show now, but I really loved Sanji. His voice and the way he spoke really gave him such personality. Then Funimation had to come along and change his voice actor. I still like him, but he just isn't the same to me.
Zatch Bell: Brago. In fact, he and Sherry are the only reasons I still look at the show. As my first anime, it will always hold a special place in my heart, but I just can't watch most of the characters anymore. Brago was my favorite from the very beginning, and he still is. I even have a lot of his trading cards and little spell book from the TCG series. :3
Space Dandy: I love all three of the main characters, but Meow is definitely my favorite. I love his design, his voice, his personality. All of him! <3
Blue Exorcist: I just started watching it, since it replaced Sword Art Online on Toonami's lineup, and I already know Mephisto is going to be my absolute favorite. I just...I can't put into words how awesome he is! Though Rin is a very close second.
And...That's about it. :3
Oooh oooh! I am also fangirling on Beyblade :'D I was only able to go through the first three seasons though. I lost interest in the new Beyblade series, sorry about that, new gen beyblade folks! Of course, like a lot of girls out there.. I love Kai Hiwatari :'D But if I am also going to consider the new series... I'll also love Tsubasa Otori. Why? Well for one, he is voiced by David Reale who is also Kai Hiwatari's voice actor. Listening to Tsubasa talk is like listening to Kai on seduction mode. *drools <3*
How could I forget Zoids? Raven and his Genobreaker? They're the bomb. So that would be Zoids: Chaotic Century and Zoids: Guardian Force. I also liked Zoids: New Century Zero with Vega as my favorite character. He's just a little kid with a big talent ^_^ But as for the later seasons, unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch them :o
I guess that's all I could think of right now XD
I still haven't watched the following Animes:
Blue Exorcist
Code Geass
Soul Eater (I think I didn't watch it?)
Wolf's Rain
Zatch Bell
Space Dandy
and many, many, many, many, manyyyy moooooore~~
The animes I haven't completed watching yet:
Detective Conan (The most smartest anime ever! But so long, 700 episodes, calm down..)
Bleach (Became bored after like the 50th episode or so :/)
One Piece (I wanted to gather the episodes together instead of watching 1 every week)
Inazuma Eleven Go! (The first Inazuma Eleven was full of action and stuff, the sequel isn't as interesting as I thought so)
Beyblade (I think I once saw this Anime in Arabic when I was a kid, I used to have a PC Game for it too?)
Oh, I have a recommendation for you guys.
Instead of watching Dubbed, why don't you watch Subbed versions? Japanese Version is always more realistic and cooler than English or other languages.
I think most anime voice actors are very, very talented, even if they do the dubs. Most voices fit the character pretty well, even if they don't sound exactly like the original. :3
Fairy Tail -> Jellal Fernandes
Kuroko's Basketball -> Midorima Shintaro
Nagi No Asukara -> Shiotome Miuna
Hyoka -> Oreki Hotarou
Detective Conan -> Shinichi Kudo
Sword Art Online -> Yui
I have lots of anime on my watchlist > w < I don't know which one to watch first ""
