Heya all,

Why isn't there a button for 'find random opponent' I don't rly care vs who I battle if I just want to battle someone.

Im still new only here for 1 day so I'm trying to figure things out. but to me it seems pretty useless to get a vs seeker this early in the game

I like this one, but i think it will be better if it can be random or open 5 others trainers to challenge :)

Many people don't like battling and if there was a "search for random opponent" some users would get annoyed by this because the random user might just be them

I have also seen many users put in their "about me" that they don't want anyone to send them battle requests.

If you want to find opponents, I suggest using the Fight Areas in the forums

Waiiiiiit lets think about this on a pokemon X/Y and ORAS point of view. Now I don't necessarily care for this suggestion since I don't battle, but what if they meant they would find a random opponent who is also searching as well? Y'know how in the battle spot in X/Y and ORAS you go to search for a random opponent? It pairs you up with someone else who is searching for an opponent, not a random player who just so happens to be online.

Now like I said, I don't really care for this, but if this is what they meant then I wouldn't mind this being a thing.

Hey there Wolfmy, you should ask that in the help forums, but I'd be glad to help.

You have to buy the VS Seeker from the item shop first, and once you do you'll be able to set up your battle team. Then you can send battle requests to other players!

there could be a way to opt out of being part of a vs. seeker battle, so that people who don't want to participate don't have to, but everyone who wants to can.

Just make it to where both need to search, It is called a vs. Seeker after all.
If you want to train these, you can if you want.

What about if random battling only worked when two people pressed the button at the same time. That way no one would be annoyed and the battle would start almost instantly. Another suggestion: Tournaments. What if people could create tournaments as raffles or lotteries and the prize goes to the strongest trainer who enters.

a random battle lobby would be preferable to the system currently in place, as some have stated lots of people dont like getting random battle requests, but theres no way to stop people from sending those requests.

but if instead of needing a request to battle, you instead entered a chat room dedicated to battle requests and that way no one who doesnt want to be requested wouldnt be and any who do want to battle could always find a battle opponent.

I support this. But ppl, please, have you ever played a game with the "find a random opponent?"
No one will get unwanted invitations!
It only works if both people are searching for an opponent :P
This would be awesome.. its very sad that we have to search through the boards to find players who wants to battle, and I think this would be very simple to implement.
Yeah, I know there are a lot of pokemon games focused in battles, but why can't we have a cool battle system here too, that allows us to find opponents quickly ?

i support this i find it tiring having to find someone who wants to battle that is currently online. i agree on the idea of how it would work like the X/Y/ΩR/αS Battle spot great idea in my opinion

they will battle

random seeker will seek two players who have average trainer level

Well... Support, as long as the "both people are searching at the same time" part is kept. I'd also like to add a bit that would allow random battling only if autolevel is built into it, since the two opponents may not be equally matched. By this I mean a system-imposed autolevel (such as the original level cap, 100.) that cannot be selected by either of the battling users. While an average team level finder would work just as well, users who have higher leveled pokemon would have a harder time finding other users with similarly leveled pokemon.

I like this idea a lot - Not many people are battling right now so this would be neat to see - as long as you can only get someone that's also searching that is ^^
