Okay, so we know how many threads in the forum we have subscribed.
But we don't know how many users have subscribed a particular thread.

He wants threads to have the option to show who's subscribed, even though he was just stating the obvious and not actually making a suggestion.

Ahh, thanks for explaining for me Tina :)

Hmm. No support. Sorry D: Why do we need to see who subscribed? There isn't really a point x'D

Toothless: I didn't understand your reason for saying no. As far as some people are concerned, they would seriously want to know how many users are interested in their threads.
For examples in fanfictions (I have made one), we do not know how many of them like our stories. If we do, we could make possible changes.
But still I don't see any feasible reasons for the denial, although this is for only some users who are interested in knowing (I'm one), not all.

I support. It would be cool to know how many people subscribed to my fanfiction. So when you go to the thread, up the top somewhere it could say "# people subscribe to this thread" or something like that.

I support having an option to see how many people subscribed, but if this suggestion is to say exactly who is subscribed, I only support for the trade forums, as that's the only place that would make sense for someone to need it.

Hm... neutral. It helps in some ways, but, I don't know... Where would we put it? Sometimes I find some links placed in a troublesome place ._.

I see now after thinking it over what the idea is, but I'm a bit neutral on the whole idea. I mean it only seems useful in the fanfic section since those are the only examples I've seen so far where it would make sense. In any other forum I'm not sure what the point would be since people subscribed would usually comment every now and then.

I'm not against this idea in terms of "oh this sucks it's bad for the site" but I just don't see the overall point of it other than showing fans of some of the fanfic stories.

I say if it's just for fanfics ask for people to PM you their support or feedback, that way you can get responses and see criticism without having to have someone develop a whole new section of the forums to see who subscribed.

Well I'm more against it than for it. Because I can see how it would help on a trade thread. Because I can imagine how annoying it is to put up trades only to take them down again after the person who was supposed to pick it up never came. I can also see why people writing fanfictions would like it; but sbesides that I see no real point to it.

After seeing FrozenFire's response I agree and decide not to support.

Like I mentioned before if it's just for fanfics just write a post saying "PM me your thoughts or critic or if you're a fan" instead of asking for a new feature to be made. After all we should try to solve problems for ourselves before making someone else go out of their way to.

I support this idea in the same manner as CarpetMonster (Just see a number, not the actual users). It's not just for fanfics, but also RPs (if you're in a group RP, you kind of want to know if everyone is subscribed or not, so you know that they aren't just ignoring the RP if they don't reply for a while.)

Trade threads would have this useful as well. (Though it might be messy to work out if you have a lot of subscribers)

Fanfics would be useful as well.

And whose to say it wouldn't be useful for bugs and complaints? If you could see how many people subscribe to those threads, it could give more of an idea of how many people agree or have the problem but who don't post.

The only issue with this, that I can see, is where would the number for the subscriber count go?

I also support it mainly because as said, it'll help for those threads.
Actually it'd help in general, if a number is given. Like, how many people is interested in your contest, raffle, trade thread/breeding shop, art/sprite shop, suggestion, fanfic, RP and maybe even clans, since some clans take out of their members list people who haven't posted in x time, so in this case it'd help having the names of the people so you could check more or less who haven't been active.

I was about to post the same suggestion and then Abby linked me to this thread. :'D TIME TO REVIVE IT

But yes I completely support the idea.
It'd be good to see at least the number of subscribers to a thread. Maybe not everyone's names, to protect their privacy, but I think it'd be a good idea to have some kind of feature somewhere. For some it might be a good feature, for others it could be just a way to satisfy their curiosity.

Well, I support, because I am a leader of some groups, and I want to see if the members really did subscribe or not.

No support. there's already a counter, called "clicks" - when I click at a thread, I'm interested in the topic - if I click it severeal times I like it - in my opinion that's ok oô
