Not sure if I explain this well but those who experience this must know what I'm talking about. Surely I'm not the only one?
Perhaps it's just lag.

It takes a bit of time for the Pokemon to appear for me, too, but that's just the lag.
Writing, knitting, and Pokemon are my thing! The pokes have sprites which have kind of a empty spates which is still clickable as said earlier, if you see there are 2 pokes which one is a bug type and the other not but the other one is on top then you need to click on the opposite side of the bug type. Let's say the bug type is on the left of the non-bug then you need to click just a little beyond the left side of the bug type to ensure you won't click the other one ;).
A way to fix it would be to erase the invisible part of the sprites but well that's not something for me to say.
