Well it's pretty self explanatory but here we go.

Kinda like how the dream world shop is set up (and I'm using that term loosely), where you can enter a players name and send them either items, pd, or nuggets, or a mix of the three. Pokemon are kept to the global trade station.

The way it works:
Player A sends trade request to player B
Player B receives notification (like other notifications on poke heroes)
Player B makes offer to player A's trade request
Player A receives notification that player B sent over there offer
Player A is then given the choice to accept or decline what player b has offered

This is so no scamming could even occur while trading. Player A could simply decline if player B isn't offering what was agreed on.

Well let's put it to a vote !

This is entirely unnecessary, as you can simply ignore any offers that aren't what you requested. The PokéHeroes GTS isn't like the official games; you DO already have to approve an offer for the trade to go through. As such, anyone other than the person for whom it is intended can be ignored (you can even let them know in the description so they know why their offers aren't being accepted) and anything that isn't what was agreed on can be refused as well.
It seems like all you think should be added is a notification that someone wants to trade, and I don't think that's necessary.

No it's more like what if I wanted to trade 3 star pieces, a weather balloon, and 50 nuggets to another player for 150k pd and few boxes and keys.

Like specific item to item trades or player to player trades.

It's not a notification, it's more of a item trade station

We can already transfer nuggets and PD to others, The system of attaching items to pokemon and trading seems to work fine. As CapretMonster said, you can Ignore any offers that aren't what you requested.

Item trades suggested here (and a bunch of other places, but that one is the nicest)

Looking for the private trade ones now, because it has most definately been suggested many times before

Hmmm. (Even though it's already been suggested elsewhere, as Nessy mentioned) I support this.

While you can attach an item to a pokemon and trade, that is a single item and no pd. Plus, you have to have an extra pokemon that you're willing to lose and you get another pokemon that you may have no desire for- it works, but it's limited and overly complicated.

What if you want to trade an item for multiple items, or a mix of items and pd, or heck- even for nuggets? You either have to accept payment for a single item in the form of a single item or put a lot of faith in a stranger on the internet that they will receive your end of the bargain and send you theirs.

I would love an official item trade station, though I'm sure it would be a big feature to code. I'm imagining it working basically the way the Trading Post on neopets used to work- you list an item (or a set of items) up for trade with a note about what you want in return, and people can offer a mixture of items, pd, and nuggets.

GHOSTY - when someone links the other one that has been suggested before, it is best to go and support that one. That way the

suggested here link is right at the bottom

and private trades have been suggested and regected before here and here

Yeah, I just wanted to discuss the issues brought up in this specific thread. :') I figure it would be kinda weird to post over there as a response to something nobody has said.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, though! I appreciate it.

I get it might have been suggested before, but obviously the topic was dead and I feel like it's time to bring it up again.
I agree with ghostly, what if I want more than one item it's redic you'd to give up Pokemon for ones I don't care about.
And the reason for it is say you attach a dragon gem to a Pokemon and ask 50k, well what if they don't send you the 50k and you send over the gem? It eliminates any form of scam, and allows multiple items to be trades at a time instead of monotonously clicking through each Pokemon and attaching items and setting up trades.

It simplifies things this way in my opinion
