Retro Hoenn

It's still the Month of Hoenn on PokéHeroes - and that means it's time for a new special Event!
Three Pokémon from the Hoenn Region are now obtainable as Retro-Pokémon (Sprites from Ruby/Sapphire).

The propability of hatching one of these Retro-Pokémon from a normal Pokémon-Egg is 5%. Any Poochyena/Zigzagoon/Taillow egg that is obtained from the Lab, Daycare, Tall Grass or the Gem Collector may hatch retro.
Hatching a Retro Egg does not break your PokéRadar chain. (For example Retro Taillow does not break a Taillow Shinychain).

This Event ends on January 31st.

UPDATE: Evolutions removed. The Hoenn Retros won't evolve - just like all the other Retros ;)

Lucky for me that I am not hunting anything. So, I will try my luck at the Retro guys. My first stop is Taillow.

Good luck to those who are shiny hunting any of the three. A shiny Retro would be interesting.

Yay, retro Hoenn stuff! I love the GBA sprites. They're one of my favourites. I'm not really huntig anything, or planning to. It seems like a nice idea, though. A shiny retro would be cool. ^-^

I'd like to see retro Cyndaquil especially, but Chikorita and Totodile would be cool too

Hmm, I'm not sure what I should think of this event tbh.
On the one hand, I like this kind of event in general because getting retro Pokémon really is fun. On the other hand I don't like this one in particular - basically because I don't think Hoenn/3rd gen sprites make good retros since these sprites aren't that different from the ones of the 4th or 5th gen. Imho only sprites of the 1st or 2nd gen make good retros.
