The Guardian Legendaries
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Pokémon RP → The Guardian LegendariesShe remembered the events at the hospital, but she didn't want that to hinder Garnet from coming along, if she wanted to.
He couldn't tell his brothers about Mewtwo but he would end up dead if he didn't. Should he just move? Get away from all of it and not look back. No, Bobby would find him. The guy had never really liked him and now he had gotten the reason to get rid of him. Stupid Mewtwo, he had never asked for him to show up. The stupid thing had only ruined his life. Well, the legendary did save his life but he would end up dead anyway because of him.
Jonah halted as he noticed he wasn't far away from the river that ran close by his home. He looked at the ring on his finger then back at he river. He slipped the ring from his hand, gripping it into his fist and walked closer to the river bank. He wanted to throw it into the water but he just couldn't. Besides, getting rid of the legendary wouldn't get Bobby out of his back, throwing the ring away would probably only make matters worse.
Putting the ring back into his finger, Jonah walked the rest of the way to his house. Once he was inside, Jonah went over to the freezer and took out a packet of frozen peas placing it into the back of his neck. He hissed as the cool packet made contact with the burning hot skin. He would need to clean the wound to make sure no infection was going get a hold of him. But he would do that tomorrow, he seriously needed some sleep. Not bothering to change clothes, he dragged himself into his bedroom and collapsed onto the bed, falling asleep pretty soon after.
I know a couple of things they can take care of well and I'm definitely not one of them. "Anyways, if you're sure you don't want to come, that's fine. I'll be coming back this way, anyway. I have to, in order to get to the next city for my travels and Gym Badge collecting."
"No wonder people say you are part lion," I laughed. Entei grunted.
She summoned Yveltal to train it. "What do you want? I was sleeping." The legendary said in a tired voice. "In the middle of the day?" Psi asked, concerned, to which the legendary replied, "Well, yeah. You kept me up all night." "Ah, yes. I was gonna train you, but I'll let you get some rest." The legendary got ready to take off, again, "Don't worry about training me, I train myself all the time. Focus on the rest of your Pokemon." "Alright, thanks for letting me know. I'll do that, then."
After that, the legendary took off. She soon made it home. As she made it near her house, she saw her friends there. They looked fine, except for a few bruises. "Hey, guys!" She said in an excited voice, running up to them and giving them a group hug. "Aw man! I hope nobody got too hurt." Laura ran to her as she came out of her home.
She put her hands on her shoulder as she said, "Enough about that, what were you doing in the hospital?" Tom followed up with, "Oh yeah! Did any of them come after you?" She looked at them confused and then remembered seeing David. He probably told one of them. She chuckled and said, "No, don't worry. I was in there for a completely different reason and for somebody else, not myself." "Oh, that's a relief." Ashley said.
Psi considered telling them about the enemies who had attacked before, but was that really a good idea? There was already enough tension between the gangs, as it is, and this would probably require her to tell them about Yveltal. After all they wouldn't believe her if she told them she made them leave using only Fletchling. Her best option was to not say anything, for the time being.
Fletchinder decided it couldn't stand being cramped up in its pokeball, anymore, and came out. "Whoa, evolved it already?" Laura asked. "Yup, and got my first Gym Badge." "Wow, you are fast!" Psi smiled and thanked her.
(Sorry for such a short post this time. I'm not entirely sure what I should do with him now. :d)
Psi finally decided to ask the question that was on her mind for a while now: "So, what happen with you guys, you know, during the fight?" Suddenly, everybody got tense. Psi even notice the color drain from a few of their faces. "Guys?" She was definitely concerned, now. "Er, n-nothing." Tom answered. He sounded like a Zombie and looked a lot like one, too. The rest weren't very different.
"Your stuttering! Alright, guys, I can't take this atmosphere, anymore. We're going to get something to eat. On me." "Yeah, something to eat." They still sounded like they were in some kind of nervous spell. Something strange definitely happened. As she started to walk, she noticed her parents. For a second, she was in a nervous spell, too.
They looked like they were about to yell at her or lecture her or something, but instead, they walked to the house. She sighed in relief. Her parents were the kind who made bad choice like getting drunk all the time. She grew up with abuse, so she was used to not being in the house 90% of the time. She turned away from them and her home, defiantly, and then began walking to a restaurant nearby with her friends.
They all got some small meals since they weren't very hungry. Psi noticed that they were eating slow and pausing a lot. Ashley got the conversation started, "Let's just say, the unexpected happened. We can't say what exactly, but the fight was going normally...and then something sort of helped us win, big time." "Wow, that sounds interesting."
Laura didn't look comfortable with things being mysterious. "Oh, I can't this anymore! I'm gonna whisper it to her." "Laura." Tom's voice was assertive as he gave her a look that clearly said that that was a bad idea. Laura looked down, pondering if she should. "If you guys don't want to say, I'm fine which that. I understand."
She felt a hand touch hers. It was Laura, passing a note to her. The look she gave her clearly said, "Read later." She put the note in her pocket, taking her eyes off of Laura to avoid the suspicion of the others. She decided to change the topic to other things, wanting this tense atmosphere to change.
Soon, they finished and left the restaurant. "Hey, thanks for that. I really needed something to calm a bit." Tom said. "Yeah, same." Ashley and Laura said at the same time. "No problem. Glad to take some stress off of you guys, even if it's just a little." They nodded and went back to they usual hanging out area near Psi's and Laura's homes.
She wrapped up the little note in a ball and threw it in the trash can near the end of the town, chained to a tree to prevent from anybody knocking it down. Sadly, that kind of thing did have to be prevented. As she made it to Santalune, she checked the camp site and other part of the city to make sure Garnet wasn't here.
As she suspected, Garnet was nowhere to be found. That probably meant that she left. She shrugged and went to toward Route 4. As she made it there, she looked at her Town Map. She shuddered as she looked at the route to the next gym badge. This was officially the time when she'd be going far from home. It was a long route, but she was willing to take it. She began walking through Route 4, Parterre Way, battling all the new and unfamiliar Pokemon and trainers.
In the end Jonah decided to try to manage on his own, cursing the one who broke his arm to the pits of hell. It wasn't easy and it took him hours but he did manage to get it cleaned and bandaged up. Sighing in frustration and annoyance, Jonah made his way to the kitchen to make himself some breakfast. After he had fixed himself a sandwich, he flopped down onto the couch in the living room, turning on the TV.
He didn't actually watch it though, Jonah tried to decide what to do in this impossible situation as he munched on his sandwich. Maybe he should just pack up and leave. Bobby would try to find him but he wouldn't give Mewtwo to him so it was no use to stick around and wait to be killed. Making his decision, Jonah got up and threw some clothes and food into his back pack along with his pain meds and a few poke balls that had been lying around for ages, maybe he would find use to them.
Jonah slung his back pack over his right shoulder walked out of the door for the last time. So I am a coward after all... He sighed sparing a glance at his left arm in the arm sling, This is going to be annoying with a broken arm.
"OUT OF THE WAY!!!!!!" a photographer yelled. My cheeks turned bright pink and I hustled to the Pokemon Center. I gave Poochyena to the nurse and took a seat on the couch. I have no other regular Pokemon. If Poochyena faints in a situation where I can't summon Entei, what would I do. The nurse called me over and handed my puppy. He yipped and jumped into my arms. We headed to the route to the right of the town. I knew stunky roamed there and here was my chance to get one.
Psi couldn't take it anymore. She decided she'd go straight for Lumiose. After all, she was feeling a bit dizzy and nauseous after that quake. Psi wasn't sure, but she could swear she heard a BOOM with it, though earthquakes are known to make sounds like that naturally. She still wasn't sure, however.
As her sight set on Lumiose, she couldn't help but stand there and stare with awe. It was huge! The people looked like they were in a flurry. She could hear them talking about the earthquake, so she knew that that was why. She looked around the place, deciding she'd take a tour of the city before moving towards the next path. Checking out the Prism Tower wouldn't be such a bad idea. It is very beautiful, after all. Then, as she went to the entrance of the tower, she noticed that it was actually a Gym. How cool! She stood at the entrance, wondering if it was a good idea to get the badges out of order, when suddenly...
"Hello, there! Here for a Gym Battle?" She looked behind her to see a strange-looking guy. He introduced himself as the Gym Leader. "Um, well... I only have one badge." "Ah, then your best off getting the other badges, first. You'll have a hard time, otherwise." "Alright, thank you." She answered as he walked into the Gym. "You're welcome." Then, the door closed behind him, leaving Psi to wonder what she should do next.
The city was one big tourist trap. People from all over the world were here to marvel at the beauty that is Lumiose City. She decided she'd go shopping for a bit, before heading off towards her next destination.
A sudden spike of guilt ripped through him as Jonah thought about his friends, he couldn't go say goodbye to them. Even though he couldn't tell anyone about Mewtwo he really wanted to explain everything to at least David and maybe Mark. They would deserve to know why he ditched them like this, without a warning. However, it might be better if they didn't know anything, safer for them.
The progress of his little journey was slow. Jonah wanted to stay out of sight, it was best if no one saw where he was headed. Hiding in alleys was annoying but it would buy him some time.
I starred into space as the necklace glew some more and got a little hotter, Easy now Dia...you might fry my skin off if you continue like this. The necklace stopped getting all fired up but the glowing continued, Sorry about that little one...now what did I tell you about calling me Dia?. His remarks made me smirk and get up from my seat, I can't recall what you said...what was it again? My eyes ventured the shelf for a decent book to read, I had read all of them a billion times and they had no proper character development, Let me freshen up your memory... the room had started to fade away slowly and I found myself in a dark-dimension for a while. After a moment of complete awkwardness, me and my shinx were being transported back into my library. It was the same as always, there were alot of books and myself to read them but I heard a conversation among two other people. They sounded familiar, "Now this was completely unnecessary..." Argonaut looked at me and chuckled a little in his own way. Dialga had shown me the memory of us talking about the great deity having a pet-name a long time ago. I saw myself and my partner pokemon laughing as I made up some weird and irrational nicknames. I sighed and and said, "I remember now, you told me to never speak of you having a stupid and unnecessary thing as a 'nick-name' again..." My neck lace stopped glowing and we were back in my present room.
Tis a bloody good thing you remember...or else I would've exploded. Me and shinx laughed until I got serious and ordered, "Speak quietly...father might notice" and sat down to read a book, knowing about the past and what happened in it was important. Shinx curled up into a ball and slept after he heard the title father, he was in bad-terms with him. I petted my little blue kitten pokemon and re-opened my book, So what do you know about the others? are they nearby? I pretended that I was reading for now, Some of them are off on their own journeys...some are having troubles facing the harsh reality of life and some have unknown statuses, don'y worry, we have plenty of time to re-unite with them.. I sighed as I closed my book and said, Amazing how I could finish a whole room of books in one week, now, I can't read one in a month.... Dialga let out a laugh and said, Finish reading the paper then! this made me smile and I opened up the paper, there were many interesting articles other than the one regarding the 'Entei' incident. One particularly caught my attention, it read that the Pokemon Kalos championship cup is to be held right here, in our humble town and the Xavier's are the ones who are sponsoring it.
Dialga sighed and asked, Don't do what I think you'll do...Don't ask you father about entering it, he will release the pokemon you have right now!. I scoffed and grabbed a few books and woke shinx up from his slumber, Who said that I was going to ask him? I will run away from home and start my journey.... Dialga laughed and commented, This is the reason why you I chose you...you unexpected little fool I sneaked my way into my room and grabbed my poke-balls that were kept hidden inside my safe, "I always wanted to battle with them...my granddads Pokemon are now mine" Shinx hopped on my shoulder and we made our way into the book room again, "Shinx go into the kitchen and grab as much food as you can!" My faithful Pokemon nodded and ran off to do his task at hand(or paw in his case XD). Dialga advised me to get some money but I shook my head and replied, "I have plenty of those in my bank and lets not forget my heavy allowance".
This was the most exciting day of my life, but I showed nothing to express my happiness. In my opinion, we should escape out at mid-night, after your father gets drunk with all his friends and wine... I nodded and said, "I agree with you dialga...we'll wait till then" and waited for the precious moment to arrive, the moment when I finally am free from these unbreakable bounds.
Crime, violence, government corruption... oh hey, it's an article about Entei in the hospital. Well, that's just great. Oh, a competition, too! I don't think I'll be ready for that anytime soon, though. Soon, her food arrived, so she put away the newspaper and began eating with her Pokemon. After she was done, she noticed that the sun was setting.
It's almost nighttime... I think I'll sleep in a hotel, here. I still have a good amount of money and it's not long before I beat trainers and get more. She went to the hotel. There was a lot of people, so she got the impression that they were full. Turned out they had 5 more rooms left at the very top floor. She sighed in relief as she took the key to room 5a.
She flopped onto the bed as she got there, sore and tired after having not slept on a proper bed for a few days. It was very comfortable, that she almost fell asleep before changing into PJs. There was a small washer and dryer in the room, so she seized this opportunity to have all her old and dirty clothes washed.
She had bought new ones, so it was fine with her if these ones took a bit long to finish being washed and dried. I just hope my bag doesn't give in at some point. I think I've been filling it with too much stuff. Oh well, that adventuring for ya. She turned off the lights and lay down on the bed, again, this time letting herself fall asleep. Her Fletchinder went to sleep on the other side of the bed, looking content with having one full pillow to itself.
After defeating the battle-girl, I roamed the tall grass, only to run into hoards. I scolded myself when I saw a fluff of purple sleeping.
"Poochyena, come on out!" I thew his Pokeball into the air, resulting the puppy to do a stylish flip in midair. "Use sand attack, quick!" I yelled. Poochyena did so, startling the Stunky. She howled while trying to get the sand out of her eyes.
"Bite and then Tackle!" I scream. The battle-girl I fought earlier was watching me with interest. Poochyena tried to bite the Stunky but missed horribly. The Stunky swiftly turned around and used Slash. It was a critical hit! Poochyena flew for seconds before hitting the ground. He whimpered but got up.
"Poochyena, don't fight! You are already injured enough!" I cry. He doesn't listen. Somehow (it was a miracle) he actually tackled the Stunky. I scramble through my bag to get a HealBall. It was really the only Pokeball I had left. I caught the Stunky and named her Stinky Pie. Cheesy name, I know. But as a child, I was dreaming to have this exact Pokemon with this exact name. I returned Poochyena and walked back to Geosenge, clutching our new team-mate's Pokeball.
After sneaking around the town for a while Jonah found himself in a forest and decided to take a rest there. He sat down onto the ground and ate some peanuts. It wasn't long until he heard some rustling from the bush beside him and a pathetic looking scatterbug emerged from it. The small pokemon seemed to be interested in his packet of peanuts and Jonah tried shoving it away. However, the scatterbug was a stubborn fella and didn't give up easily.
Jonah tried scaring it away and just took off deeper into the forest when nothing seemed to work. And yet, the bug pokemon still followed him. In a fit of frustrated anger Jonah threw a pokeball at the annoying pokemon hoping it would just go back to where it came from. The item hit the scatterbug right between the eyes. The bug pokemon turned into a ball of light and disappeared inside the pokeball, staying there.
Jonah stared dumbfounded at the pokeball lying on the ground. "The heck was that..." He walked the short distance over to the pokeball picking it up. He let the pokemon out of it which stared at him from the ground clearly wanting the peanuts. "Alright, you annoying little prick..." Jonah huffed and threw the packet to the scatterbug turning around and continuing walking through the forest.
He could hear faint rustling from behind himself as he walked and he had no doubt it was the same bug pokemon he had just caught. Wait what!? ...I caught a pokemon? He glanced at the scatterbug trailing behind him. An useless one but it still counts right? Jonah was lost in thought for a while but glanced back at the scatterbud after a while. "You know what, I think I'll call you Stud Vire."
{And that's how you catch a pokemon fellas. Lure it with peanuts. :B}
Psi woke up pretty early from yet another earthquake. Great, the aftershock... Unfortunately, she couldn't sleep after it, so she decided she'd be on her way to the next town, early. She got her stuff ready and went downstairs back to the main lobby.
She returned the hotel key and stepped out of the place. Despite the sky being clear and the sun out, it was still chilly. She put on a scarf and jacket, and then went on her way to Route 5. However, as she got to the Route, she saw a famous professor. "Professor Sycamore?" She asked, unsure. The professor looked at her curiously and then said, "Yes, that's me. I see you're a Pokemon Trainer." "That's right, but I am pretty new."
"That's good, actually. I need a few people to fill up pokedexes so we could learn more about Pokemon. What do you say?" It was so sudden, but she couldn't resist. She did feel like she needed a Pokedex just to make things easier to know. "Um...yeah. Sure, I'll help you gather data." "Alright, thank you. I just need your name, now." "Psi." The professor pressed a few buttons on the Pokedex and then handed it to her. "Just make sure to visit me from time to time. You know where my lab is, right?" Psi nodded. "Of course!"
Professor Sycamore thanked her and then left. At first, she just stood there in surprise, but then she shrugged, put the Pokedex in her jacket pocket and went off on her way. As she made it to Camphrier Town, she decided that she'd pay a visit to Shabboneau Castle.
As she entered the place, she was welcomed by a man cleaning the place and told that the owner gives away many things. "Feel free to take any Pokemon Items you see. The owner really has no need for them, anyway." The person said. "Thank you." Psi answered and began exploring the castle. As she went up, she saw what looked like an orb, on a table. She went down the stairs and asked the person she met before what it was.
He examined it and then said, "Ah, that's an Absolite. It Mega-Evolves an Absol during battle. I believe the owner of this castle left it for one to take." She looked at the item and then back at him. "Tell the owner I say thank you." She said and began walking towards the exit.
She didn't feel that it would be fair to take more than one item, so decided that this one was enough. He smiled and answered, "I will. Come again." For a while, she stood at the door and stared at the item. But where do I get an Absol? Oh well, I'm sure I'll find one at some point.
