30-50 Hours of Game Time is actually very hard to accomplish.
I feel the Trainerlevel limit should be enough.

I really like this idea, support!
What if users in a certain trainer level range or something had to take a small quiz on the rules before making a suggestion?

I dunno Sandevi that seems awfully similar to the suggestion Betta and I are working on.

QuoteBut what if the leveling up is going too slow like for me? What happens then? What if you lose the paper for your idea?

You can send pms to yourself.

If you type up how you want the thread to look, then copy the code for it and put it in the code tags, then pm it to yourself, once you're level 15, if it's not already a feature available, you're all good to go.

An example of this is:

So the "having a good suggestion while being a lower level" thing doesn't have much of a "Well, I forgot what it was going to be" excuse :p

That aside, I support the higher level + a minimum account length for this. Since I was level 15 in... I think four days >.>;; (Minimum account length = How long since the account was created and first accessed)

Support

Many users get told off for bad suggestions, and I sometimes feel sorry for them, put that aside though, I get annoyed by bad suggestions as well.

I definitely support this. I use the forums a lot, and I often see suggestions from people who haven't spent enough time on the site to be able to make an informed suggestion.

For the users who haven't been on for long enough, but have an idea they want to suggest, they could talk to another user, who has a high enough level, who could make the suggestion for them if they think it is a good idea. For example: Matt the newbie has an idea for tidying up the gem exchange. Matt the newbie tells David the lvl 30 user about his idea. David agrees that it is a good idea and makes the suggestion on Matts behalf.

Full Support!
I have seen soooo many users on trainer level 10 or under who have just spammed the suggestions with useless and pointless suggestions, which dont have a chance of being implemented!
I am on the forums the most and I always see users who haven't even learnt anything around the site who just suggest their hearts out, like they can do what they want and that's how conflicts start, followed by false reporting etc etc.

Despite me being under the trainer level you're all suggesting, I'd like to put in a few ideas. What if they kept bugging users to post whatever suggestion in the forums constantly because the one bugging the user with the higher trainerlevel was about 10 or so? Could newbies also ask veterans (or very dedicated) users of this site to suggest whatever for them? I honestly see this causing a nuisance for people who are above the level range you're suggesting and are able to post in suggestions.

As the users that may be bugged, they are more experienced and know what to do about it! As, they may be users who started a year ago and they know what to do as like I said they are more experienced and know may know to stop people from bugging them!

I feel if a user with a lower trainerlevel asks someone to do a suggestion for them, they'd be asking their friend or something.

However, if they message a higher leveled user who doesn't want to post it or thinks it is ....stupid ... then the higher level user can tell them No.

And if they keep bugging the person after the NO, then they'd be breaking rules.

I support fully! There are some really stupid suggestions going around, especially recently, so this would be a great idea! Although, I think there should be a playing time limit, like Sitri said. Because some users have been on for 6+ months and higher than Trainerlevel 15, but still make bad suggestions.

Please refrain from posting short things like "Support" it is spam and not needed.

Yeah, I definitely support this. I had some stuff I was thinking about suggesting, but I decided to sit on it for a bit, and now that I've got a little experience with the site under my belt I realize they were redundant/defeated the point of stuff/ill-though-out, etc. There are so many "discover as you go" aspects to the site, it's like making suggestions about something you only have half a picture of.

I'm a bit above the typical age-range for this site, so I had enough forethought to wait before posting my thoughts. But younger kids scientifically have lower impulse control. I know if I was 13 I would not be able to resist spamming all of my ~super neat~ ideas.

I 420% support this. If this gets implemented then the amount of spam suggestions as others have said here will be brought down by a ton and that would be amazing and would make it a lot easier for mods and such to scope out better and more creative suggestions that have a better chance of making it onto the site.

This needs to be implemented. Maybe there should be a level limit for palpad and PMs too, because (no offence) most new players bug other people instead of reading the rules.
