Hfdrjm!
He reached to pick up the dragon, hoping not to catch the attention of the hunter and who seemed to be a rider.

The hatchlings in the destroyed clearing looked up as Robin and Yen landed. Several scrambled over to her with squeals of terror, others hiding in surprise. "Yen, go round up some tamers back in town. I'll try to keep these lil guys under control. The young dragons had for the most part gathered around her, probably due to her aura. Yen uncertainly took off back towards town.

"I'll be taking this, cousin," Kanju said as he snatched the dragon hatchling up from under the boy and immediately popped back into a sitting position. With his free hand, he grabbed one of the bottles he had taken out earlier and ripped out the cork with his teeth. The liquid contained inside flew out, spilling all over Kanju and his horse. It started to evaporate immediately, giving off mass amounts of smoke which enveloped hunter, horse, and hatchling alike. When the smoke cleared a few seconds later, the trio was gone.
They were now inside of an old building that had fallen into disrepair. It was two stories, but the second floor was more of a loft than a floor. With the adrenaline from the fight starting to fade, Kanju began notice a sharp and intense pain in his side. He looked down to see a scalpel protruding from a chink in his armor, the tip of it embedded almost directly below his rib cage. Ouch, must have happened during the fight with that deranged rider. I didn't see him throw it...he probably threw it at me as I was getting back up on my horse. Kanji winced as he pulled it out and discarded the tool off the the side. I'm going to need to bandage that soon, he made a mental note.
"Well, I didn't intend on bringing you along, but I guess it's for the better." Kanju patted his horse's neck. The hunter slid off his horse and landed on the plank flooring with a thud. With a few clicking noises, he called the horse and led it outside, keeping one hand pressed against his wound. Luckily, the animal fit through the partially dilapidated door. He tied the horse off with the hatchling tucked under his arm, and went inside.
The dragon hatchling, which Kanju now identified as a rare Cloud dragon, was put into a portable cage made out of wire mesh while the hunter removed his armor and undershirt. Kanju fished out a new bottle from his pockets and poured a small amount of its contents onto the wound, wincing once more as the liquid stung the wound. It was a concoction meant to speed up the healing process as well as clean the wound. But it sure does sting, Kanju thought as he quickly sucked in an intake of air.
(I apologize for the length, I got a bit carried away. XD)

Sorry about that!!!))
Felicia sighed as she continued to follow the dragon tracks. Ninyan had begun fighting with their telepathy again, and they gave her a headache so bad that she ended up zoning out as she tried to break them up.
Sheesh, just say something already... Niny's voice whined. Felicia hadn't said anything to either of them since they got moving again. Felicia was actually just caught up in her searching, but her dragon was beginning to assume that she was mad.
As Felicia and Ninyan entered an area with much harder packed ground, the tracks disappeared. Finally taking a look around the immediate area, Felicia groaned. "Great there goes the tracks, and I have no idea where we are. Let's see about flying I guess..." She said out loud, turning back to Ninyan. The dragon shifted uncomfortably, as if some parasite was in their scales making them itch. Felicia walked over to the dragon, placing her hands on their heads.
Hey, what's wrong? she asked, looking at both of them with worry.
There's something nearby, our instincts are telling us to get away... Nyan said, a rare tinge of fear or something similar in his voice. At Felicia's touch though, they both calmed down somewhat.
Either way, we need to find a way back to town. We lost the tracks and I'm lost. Can you two fly me up to get my bearings? she asked gently.
I guess we can try. You know we're not good though... Niny replied, her head lowering slightly in shame. Whenever Ninyan attempted to fly, neither head could work together to make a smooth flight. Despite this, Felicia hopped onto their back and quietly urged them to fly, which they did with little to no grace.
Yen had been flying back, several tamers speeding along behind her. "Down here!" he yelled to the earth dragon. She immediately took note of his lack of Wisp, communicated something to the other riders and swerved towards him, landing a few moments later.
Where's Wisp?
The fear in her voice was apparent, and she seemed to pick up on the fact a hunter had been there mere moments before. "A hunter snatched Wisp. Can you take me to Robin? Even though I doubt her or that random guy can find Wisp." Yen nodded, Jackson mounting.
"You cheat me, cousin. This here's a rare Cloud dragon, they're worth at least four hundred," Kanju argued as he rubbed his eyes. He had taken the time to change into his finer clothes now that he was no longer working. The wound he had received was by now bandaged and he had taken care to make sure that it wouldn't stain his expensive clothes. The brownish gold hues of his robes complimented the pale gold of his eyes. Silver jewelry hung about his neck, and his robes too had decorations of gold and silver, as well as the hood being adorned with the horns of dragons.
When Kanju had come to this country, he had learned that jewelry was mainly a fashion choice of women (although some men did wear it as well), as opposed to it being a sign of status in his homeland. The adornments that were meant to show him as a wealthy figure deserving respect often earned him strange glances from locals and set him apart as a foreigner.
However, Kanju didn't mind this. It often made ladies fawn over him even more, as they seemed to love his exotic look. In fact, while finishing his second drink of coffee on his way to the dealer, he had overheard two girls talking amongst themselves about the handsome foreigner they had seen the other day and pointed to the hunter, who had given them one of his signature smiles, melting their insides.
"Three hundred," the vendor bargained, bringing Kanju back to the present.
"I said four." Kanju remained solid.
"Three-fifty, highest offer."
"Deal," Kanju agreed. As he shook hands with the dealer, he spoke again, "Plus fees and tax, which makes four hundred."
Defeated, the vendor scowled as he began to pile up coins while the hunter passed the Cloud hatchling over the counter. Kanju scooped the money into his coin pouch as the vendor muttered something about being able to build castle on prime ground with that kind of money. Of course it was an exaggeration, but he wasn't actually that far off.
As Kanju left the black market with considerably heavier pockets than before, his eyes felt heavier and heavier as he made his way back to the safe house. I do get tired after big fights, but never like this. The man yawned as he entered the house and sagged into the hammock he had set up using the beams crossing the ceiling. The last thoughts to cross his mind were of his master and how Kanju guess he was faring, and the hunter fell asleep.
(Even longer and I'm sorry but not sorry. I like to develop my characters a lot. :U)

It was hard, but Jackson managed to pick out the words in the most recent wail of his hatchling. "Yen. Yen stop. Yen. Yen," he began to plead. They had been flying over what appeared to be a small town as Yen landed. "Gotta find Wisp. He's here, his usual gibberish of telepathy can't reach very far.
I'll come with you, Yen offered, though Jackson shook his head. "With you I'll catch a lot of attention. I'll be fine. Besides, you'll probably be able to sense me."
The earth dragon wanted to argue. She truly did, but decided against it, despite the fact she could scent the hatchling from where she stood. Goodluck, she finally said simply. She took to her sky, after pausing to point Jackson in the direction Wisp had been taken.
In town! Wisp wailed in distress to Flash. Going away from him! In town!
"Of course the one with more destructive methods had to 'save' Wisp. When I'm right here!" he yelled at nothing in particular. He'd literally been right outside the black market. With a sigh, he sat against one of the few standing-and not burning- buildings. He really hoped the enraged dragons wouldn't find him and rip him to shreds.
The hunter squirmed a bit, testing his bonds. He could tell that it was done quickly, almost in a hurry, but they still held fast. If he wanted to free himself, he would need some sort of tool. If I could just... Kanju's hand was within reach of the pocket that he kept his knife in. He slipped his hand into it.
Syxe! His hand grabbed nothing but the silk folds of his clothing. He must have forgotten the knife inside his bag. The more he thought of it, the more he was sure that in his earlier state of sleepiness he must have forgotten to grab it.
Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed the man he had fought earlier. Not only was that lunatic here, but there were also several buildings on fire in parts of the town. Kanju looked up at the crazed man.
"A bit much, perhaps?" he said in a flat, yet mocking tone.
