Johnson grabbed a sword and tested it's balance. Suddenly another soldier came in. He looked surprised. "Who are you?" he asked. "Stand down, soldier. You don't need to know who I am, just that I'm higher ranking than you." replied Johnson calmly, but injecting authority into his voice. "Oh, sorry sir." the soldier said, backing out the room. 'Idiots." muttered Johnson. He started walking back to the throne room.

"So..." Colin closed his eyes. "How long was I out?" He finally asked. "Oh..." Cordelia sounded like she didn't want to answer it. "Maybe... 6 or 7... Months." "What!?" Colin yelled, probably drawing the attention of everyone in camp. "I'm sorry." He apologized, looking at a concerned Cordelia. "It's OK, I probably would be that surprised." She shed a tear. "I-I-I... I just missed you so much..."

Forge walked in, Johnson at his side. "The idiot's awake? Good. Well, the war is more or less over now, thanks to this guy." he said, looking at Johnson. "Killed the leader, the rest surrendered. We're just rounding up some resistance. Been five raids, we held all off. Me and Johnson are currently hunting the resistance leader. He can't hide for much longer." he informed Colin.

"Forge..." Colin let out a very deep sigh. "It's been 7 months... Yet you still have a talent for killing the mood?" He kissed Cordelia on the Cheek. "I'll be back." He said, walked out of the tent with Johnson and Forge with him. "So... how's the war?" He asked.

"Good. Their army has been reduced to a mere resistance, as Forge mentioned while 'killing the mood'." said Johnson. "Hey, just because you're jealous you don't have an outstanding talent like that." replied Forge. "Anyway, I had a shot at the king, but the slippery idiot bailed out when a few hundred guards came into the room. Even I needed Forge to bail me out." said Johnson. "Yeah. And thanks to you, I nearly died.' said Forge. "Look, I know I run you through on my sword, but it was an accident." snapped Johnson. Forge sighed.

"Everyone's okay, not a single drop of blood... apart from Forge, who I accidentally impaled on my sword." said Johnson. Forge looked at him. "If you trust Fredrick, that is. X... well, I bailed him out. Lissa is presumably with him." Johnson continued, ignoring Forge's glare.

"How do you accidentally impale someone!!!" Coln yelled. "Never mind... anyway, when is the next strategy meeting? I need to talk strategy." He said, then looked at the sky, and saw the sun setting. "I need food, then I'm heading to bed. For someone who just slept seven months I'm tired." He walked off to the mess tent, and was welcome with cheers.

Forge patted him on the back as he stood there, stunned. "Let's just say that a lot of people have missed their tactician." he smiled. "See you around, Colin." he said, walking away. Johnson followed him onto the training ground.

X was at the mess tent holding up a mug when he walked in and Lissa was sitting next to him. "Hey you finally woke up and I was beginning to worry." X laughed a bit. He had bandages around his left arm and around his chest. "When Johnson and some others came to save me I got a bit damaged from some guys who wanted to kill us after we killed the guy who put a hex on me and after we killed Walhart." X said in small pain. "Lovely here couldn't fix it up, but she isn't worthless at least." X said pointing to Lissa "I would hit you if you weren't hurt and didn't say I wasn't worthless." She said kissing him on the cheek.

Colin sighed. "It's good to see you're both alright." He said, then grabbed some food. "Father!" Colin turned to see who said that, it was Morgan. "You're awake! Now I can try some of my new strategies I've been practicing!" She said cheerfully. "Morgan, tomorrow." Colin stopped her. "I'm gonna eat then go to..." He yawned, then continued "bed." "B-B-But... you just got up." Morgan whined. "I know, but for some reason I'm still tired. I promise it'll only be one night this time." Colin said, then walked away to eat.

After he finished, he snuck away to try and get to his tent, but was stopped by Stahl, and they talked for half an hour or so. Colin yawned then said, "Stahl look, I'm really tired and need to get to sleep. I'll talk later." He walked away and went into his tent, Cordelia wasn't in yet, so Colin flopped onto the cot and went to sleep.

Sometime Later at night
X went into the woods and sat down by a tree. He suddenly heard footsteps and right when he moved away from where he sat an arrow hit the tree he was sitting next to. "Dang must be some of the resistance and I'm in no condition to fight." X said quietly. Soldiers came up to X and he pulled out a sword and slashed at some soldiers only hurting them a lot.

Colin was awoken by screams. "What was that?" He quickly jumped out of bed, awakening Cordelia. "Colin? What are you doing?" She asked, also getting out of bed. "I thought I heard someone scream." He replied, putting his armor on. "I'm coming with you." She said, putting her armor on as well. He turned to her, "We've been married long enough to know that I can't stop you." He said, then stepped out the tent and looked at the forest. "X!"

Colin drew his sword and peeked into the tent which Cordelia was coming out of, "Cordelia. X is under attack." Colin said, then quickly leaped into battle. "Time to tip the scales!" He yelled, then jumped and slashed repeatedly Astra! He killed at least 10 soldiers, then Cordelia yelled, "Face me!" and slashed a troop, that was about to attack Colin. "Nicely done."

X went up to the leader of the squad and put his sword up to his neck. "Who is commanding you?" X said moving the sword closer. "I-I-It's Walhart!" The soldier said. "He can't be, he's dead!" X yelled at the soldier. X stabbed the soldier in the arm and the leg. "Just in case you try to escape you're our hostage now." X glared at the soldier. X walked back to the camp pulling the soldier behind him and tying him up somewhere.

Forge and Johnson ran in the direction where the other resistance members were retreating. "This ends tonight, Walhart." muttered Forge. "Damn straight, it does!" exclaimed Johnson. They kept following silently.

X looked back at Forge and Johnson. "Guys don't! We need a plan to bring down Walhart if you guys go now he might just trick us again with another impersonator. Just head back to camp." X said to Forge and Johnson. X went to his tent and sat on his cot thinking what to do. He finally fell asleep in the cot a couple of minutes later from exhaustion.

Forge and Johnson didn't even hear him. They arrived at a small outpost. "What's the plan?" asked Johnson. Forge surveyed the wall. "You distract the main guard. I'll climb the wall and drop him. I'll let you in after that. More on the plan once I've seen the inside." said Forge. "Fair enough." said Johnson. He walked up to the main gate. "Greetings!" he shouted. "Who goes there?" replied the guard. "A lost traveler, looking for food and shelter." replied Johnson. "Get out of here, you damn beg-" he was cut off as Forge slit his throat. "He's rude." he commented. Forge opened the gate allowing Johnson in and closed it again. They were both inside.

"Let's do this!" Colin yelled, with several other shepherds alongside him. "Henry!" He yelled, turning to him, "Nya ha ha ha." He laughed, then shot a bolt of lightning and destroyed a wall, letting the shepherds charge into the fort

"For Ylisse!" Colin yelled running into the fort, slashing anyone in his way. "Severa, Morgan! Look for the commander." He told them. "Ugh, Fine." Severa whined. "Gotcha father!" Morgan agreed. "Everyone else, find Valm scum and kill 'em!" He heard several shouts of agreement then he himself went into the dungeon to free any captives.

He went down the dungeon steps, and took a torch off a wall. It sure is dark in here... He observed, then heard someone crying. "Anyone here?" He yelled. "H-Hello?" He heard someone say weakly. He walked over to a cell, and a young girl was in it. "Are you here to save me?" She asked weakly. "Yes," He took his axe and smashed the cell lock, and the door swung open. "Come wi-" "Wait!" She interrupted. "You've got to save my sister!"

"Your sister?" He asked. "Yeah, my older sister, she is in that room." She pointed to a door at the end of the dungeon, where flashing lights could be seen from under the door. "Don't worry, I'll save your sister," he said, running for the door.

He burst open the door to find a young women flinging spells at a Valm commander. "Your escape attempt is valiant, but futile!" The commander yelled, then flung an axe at her and it scraped her leg. "Gah!" She yelled in pain. Colin didn't even need to think, he grabbed his sword then sneaked up and stabbed the commander in the back. "Hello, my name is Colin. I'm here to rescue you."

X was told to stay at camp because of his injuries. He got up from his cot and got into his assassin cloak and snuck out to where the Shepherds were and snuck inside. He took out his sword and went to look for the commander. Every time he saw a Shepherd or a Valm troop he would hide as fast as possible.

"Thanks?" The girl said, "I'm Celestia." she explained. "We should really get out of this place." He said. "I already freed your sister." He said, opening the door. "Good." She said, taking off running for out off the dungeon, and Colin followed.

"Everyone out!" Colin yelled warning every shepherd to get out of the base, and once everyone was out. "Wait X!? What are you doing here? Never mind... Mages! Do it!" Colin yelled, then with that command, Several mages cast Bolganone and the entire Valm outpost was destroyed by lava.
