It says some people don't want a signature on certain threads/posts because it would ruin the presentation, especially for diaries since the same thing would come up over and over again.

Plus it's an OPTION. Users would be able to turn it on or off when they want to. So even if this is implemented, you don't have to use this .-.

Lots of users would find this useful and helpful, and you're not supporting it because you find it 'stupid', and you're not going to use it. If you're not going to use it, that's fine. It's not a must.
There's no point not supporting something you're not even going to use.

I did read the first post, but why not just make the words/images smaller instead? (option to make signature smaller)

maybe turning off your own would MAYBE work, but disabling all would NOT work I think that's a very stupid option because people get people to go to their eggs/pokemon/trade shops through signatures so they would get a lot less help/customers

I said there could be a tick box beside the ''Preview'' button. You tick it if you don't want the signature to be displayed below the post you make.
It's for each post you make. Not one tick box for the whole thread.

And users could still enable their signatures on other threads so users would see the advertisement.

Toothless said very clearly it's an option. An option means it is not mandatory.

If people have that then they won't disable their signatures. People don't have to use this, that's the point. It's just something for users who have signatures to be able to block their own signatures. If they advertise then they most likely won't use this, and this in no way would affect you or your shop for example because you'd choose to show it or not.

I'm not sure how else this can be made clear: you can choose whether or not to use it. It is a choice. An option. Not a "you must block all signatures." And it is the user's choice whether they would want to block their signature, not someone else's, so again if people don't want to they won't.

That said, I can support this.

Well My Opinions are

For Some Diary Treads,,,

I Support,,, Signatures Came like Distraction Sometimes But Its very Useful with this like You want Your Thread Clean and Tidy,, Like well arraged Diary,, Like that,,So I supprt with this situation

But For others like Forum Games, I dont Supprt,, Signature Makes Styles of the Forum making ut Beautiful,, But Sometimes Useful Because oters dont want a Sig although I dont supprt with tis situation..

Kyogre. I've said lots of times that it's an option. It would be a tick box.
Users can disable it whenever they want, wherever they want :b
It's not for specific forum topics/sections.

I don't get your second opinion. There wont be a tick box for specific sections of the forum. It will be for every section, only users decide when they want to disable it or enable it. It's their decision.

The point here isn't to say which forums would use it ._. the point is to say to give people the option. Your support shouldn't be based on which forms would use this and which wouldn't because this is not forum based it is a personal choice.

The support should be: Do you think the option to make your signature visible is a good one. Yes or No and why? If that makes sense.

And I would really like to see this idea haha, I mean it's pretty simple if you ask me so that's why I am a bit confused seeing some people don't seem to understand this idea and whether or not to support it.

And if people want the forum to look beautiful then they won't tick the option to have their signature hidden, so no harm there. And even if they did it's there personal signature, they can if they want, whether or not it makes things pretty.

And since Toothless said you'd tick this option for every post, people might tick the option for diaries but not forum games. So this isn't a one and done option, it's for every post you make.

I support this too. By hiding some signatures on our Diaries, we can make them clear plus they would look neat and we can advertise our other stuff in other forums! 99.99% Support!

I know I already said I support this before, but I've come to say that I support this even more, now. Whenever I go to a specific thread, my laptop always starts getting leggy, I think it might be because of the widgets and all the other stuff. Basically, this could help me out possibly make my laptop go a bit faster when I go to threads.
