(I wasn't really intending them to be on a boat at first but I guess that works too. :p Also, I pictured they'd be somewhere in central Europe. Since they're on a boat now, they could be somewhere in the coast of France.)

Sampsa adjusted his Sako TRG by his shoulder as he was strolling through the mass of people. The sniper rifle was annoying to carry around but he was a good shot with his keen eyes and he preferred it over any other weapon. Some could say using a sniper rifle was cowardly, hiding from the enemy and not engaging in actual battle. He couldn't give a damn about those ignorant idiots, sniping was a form of art they couldn't understand. It wasn't something just anyone could do.

As he was walking in the herd of people, Sampsa spotted Norway and Denmark little farther away and was about to go exchange a couple of words with them. He didn't relly care about socializing with the other countries but he thought meeting his fellow Nordics would be a good idea. However, before he could reach them, he accidentally bumped into someone. He was about to apologise to the woman when he noticed her flag, Russia. An annoyed frown appeared on his face and he kept on walking past her, "Perkeleen ryssä..."*

*"Perkeleen ryssä":
-Perkeleen (Basic form: Perkele) -A very common and popular Finnish swear word.
-Ryssä -An offensive nickname for a Russian person.

We Finns are not too fond of Russia because of the history we share. I'm not gonna start explaining it but if you have too much time on your hands and are interested, you can do some research to find out. :p

Wandering around half-dazed was not a fitting position for Yaroslava. Especially if she was deep in thought. Perhaps it was because of this that she didn't last 10 minutes in the swarm of humans without bumping into someone. It wasn't a very strong collision, but enough to knock her back a step. The person grimaced at her before continuing on his way. She didn't quite understand until he had already passed her- she saw that the Finnish flag was on the back of his jacket.

Tension between the various nation's "participants" was something she had fretted over little. I suppose that is something I should remember since I'm Russian. There may have been more people living in my country, but that also means that many more have died. Yaroslava wondered if they would ever stand each other enough to complete their mission, or if everyone would just stay apart in groups of cultural or linguistic similarity. Well, in the former case, I'd have to get along with Finland. And that likely won't happen anytime soon....

She made her way through the other side of the crowd, and sat down on a bench. I'll just stay here until I hear someone speaking Russian or English, she thought.

Her feet tapping rather impatiently, Alon leaned over and rested her elbows on her knees. Just when are they going to arrive to their destination?

At this minute, Alon somewhat got the hang of the noises around her. It was quite amusing watching people come and go in her line of sight as well. Seeing so many of them somewhat made her feel alive inside, as there is still hope for humankind. Everyone just needs to get along at some point and completely understand each other, to forget their differences and forgive one another. At this stage, Alon somewhat had a hint of this mission's purpose, and that would be bringing world peace. Cheesy as it may sound, but bringing unity among nations would give humankind a greater shot in life. Perhaps if everyone were to forget about the concept of racism and just focus on them gathered together as one species, then there won't be a need for selfishness anymore and everyone would be there for each other as if they share the same blood.

This sounded promising to Alon, and a glint of hope sparkled in her eyes.

However, seeing that small spark of conflict in front of her made her think again. Watching the two as they collided into each other got her holding her breath for a while. The young man definitely looked pissed and with the way he delivered his words in his native tongue to her, it sent Alon the impression that he really wanted to insult the lady before him.

Russia and Finland. I wonder what happened? Alon asked herself in her thoughts. It saddened her seeing how some nations still felt hate towards one another. This is going to be a very challenging mission indeed.

Watching the lady now, her eyes continued to follow her until she began to approach the bench. Alon immediately looked away. Where were her manners? Of course it is rude to stare, what was she thinking? She kept her eyes on the ground now until she felt a slight movement on the bench she was sitting on. Russia actually sat beside her. Alon finally brought her eyes on Russia once again. This time, she gave her a friendly smile.

"Don't worry, Ms. Russia. They'll get over it someday." She said all of a sudden. Being someone who hates conflict, Alon gave her a reassuring nod, as this must have been hard on Russia at some point, considering what her nation is well known of. Heck, even videogames and media portray them as "the bad guys," which was unfair. Even so, the only way to accomplish this mission is to care for one another.

Turning her eyes away now, the Filipina then proceeded to tie her hair in a high ponytail once more.
This will haunt you forever. CAUTION: You have been warned.

It was a shout that had disturbed me. The shout was full of anger and hatred. I slowly lifted my head, keeping my eyes half-closed as I surveyed the scene a little way ahead of me. There were two people, both red with anger, who were furiously exchanging words of a foreign language. When I took a closer look, I noticed they were Iran and Israel. They had a small audience, three of them were standing with their arms crossed, snickering at the scene in front of them. There were two others who were keeping their distance, no doubt afraid of getting on the two country's bad side. The rest of them were simply standing, watching from their perches. The argument was heating up now; both participants looked on the verge of physical violence. I stiffened as Iran's hand shaped itself into a fist. Someone else seemed to notice it too; Iran's fist came up, and was immediately obstructed by Syria. Iran's head swung to the side, coming nose-to-nose with his obstruction. There was a small bit of tension between the two, and then something seemed to shut Iran's anger down. Syria led Iran away, looking over their shoulder and giving Israel a sour look. Quite suddenly, I broke into laughter. It was quite amusing to see someone that wasn't me get angry. I just hoped any countries I had beef with would stay well away, and at the same timed I hoped I didn't go too overboard with my anger and make new enemies. A few people were now looking at me funny. My face immediately formed a frown and my brows came together. I noticed my scarf had slipped, so I pulled it back over my mouth and nose, this time I pulled my hood over my head, then reached behind me, taking my G36 off my back and onto my lap. I contemplated if it was even wise to handle my weapon in this crowd of moving bodies. I decided it was fine, since I noticed a few others handling their weapons of choice. I now wondered if I should keep the G36 reloaded. There was definitely nothing I had to shoot on the boat, and when would we be stopping again? I decided I should always be prepared, so I unbuttoned and unzipped my coat, revealing the bandolier strapped over my shoulder. I unfastened a round of ammunition, examining it carefully before loading the gun. I always made sure the ammo was in good condition and wasn't missing anything before I reloaded, when there was time to waste. I sat there, admiring the rifle. I had always been very fond of weapons, no matter how powerful or useless, how big or small. But now, I was stuck with that situation again, I had nothing to do, no one to talk to. I now noticed the fact that I didn't know anyone on this ship. Well, I was not in the mood to start a conversation. This was one of the times, when someone would have to actually work to keep me on track in a conversation.

No one noticed Som, or they were too busy to care...

'Never mind' she thought, as she jumped in...

The ship swayed a bit from her landing. She found a rather big crowd here. Some were familiar to her, since the flags were frequently appeared on the News.

Knowing no one, Som decided to go have any seat available.

OOC: Sameer wears a badge representing the color and symbol of the pakistani flag on his black jackets right shoulder:

Annoyance was the only thing I was feeling right now.....of all the places in the world they had to pick the coldest?
This place where all the representatives were going to meet was a pretty darn cold place, It was full of people I didn't know and the people that made babies cry.... Over-populated was okay to me, I was used to crowded places because the country in which I used to live in, was a somewhat 'over-crowded' nation itself.
I missed my home-land more than anything.....the lively cities and destruction were everywhere, but the people never hesitated to smile and lend the other a hand, they had unbreakable spirits. Sure there were some REALLY corrupt people but we were a free nation, our main power was our spirit and unity.
It is a shame that such a young country was demolished so soon.
This place was making me home-sick, I sensed that there was a constant quarrel amongst the people. They were giving me sneers and I could've sworn that someone had abused me in their own Native language, good thing I didn't really care at that time.
Is it because of my nationality? are they sane or what? This isn't the time to quarrel amongst each other!
Even if they seem to be friendly on the outside, they were actually picking out your flaws in the inside. The food and resources were scarce....no surprise there but it made me hallucinate my late-mothers home cooking.
You must be wondering what I was doing? I was observing the behavior and ways of people... must be cautious about who I wanna stick to and which people I have to avoid.
My observation was proven useful, Many people were scared, such nitwits...what were they expecting? that the land will magically appear, and we will all live in wonder land? There were gonna be some harsh sacrifices, which I am used to. Some rare representatives were over-confident, lets see how long their confidence lasts......and some clever people just minded their own business and stared into space.
Regardless of these facts, This port had many people; In-fact it had ALOT of people with minds and personalities of their own so I wouldn't be surprised if someone shot the other right in the skull. Trust me that is a weird sight to see. Not beyond the shipping dock I saw two people in a fist-fight challenge,Huh? looks like we have a problem.... Racism was going to be tough to handle on this mission, many countries don't have a very good background with each-other.
My stroll over these grounds continued for several minutes until I stopped to take a last minute view of the ocean.
I gazed at the infinite bed of water and Ice....It seemed as if my curiosity was unparalleled at the moment. I had so many questions that needed answering.
why did god do all this? Was it because he wanted to remove all barriers of hate and disgust amongst us humans and force us to find a way to work together?
I was thinking rubbish, That does sound very clever to me but still, The only thing we should be focusing about right now was how we will reach the untouched land or what-so-ever it was called.

Unexpectedly, the person sitting beside her spoke. Yaroslava turned her head to look at who it could possibly be, and her eyes fell upon a younger lady. The woman and her manner of speaking seemed quite calm and....kind. Not entirely sure what she should say, Yaroslava replied with a nod of agreement. "T-thanks," she said in English.

Another surprising event soon occurred, as the voice of another female reached her ears. She could just barely be heard over all the cacophonous racket going on. Cht'o tepey...?* This noise was soon followed by the sound of a smaller boat's engine quieting down. Then, out of nowhere, someone jumped on board the ship Yaroslava and the other nations were on. Kto'yto?** she thought. It looked like most of the other representatives were caught up in their own ordeals and didn't even notice her. It's already crowded here. How many more people will be coming? I just hope we don't all turn too stir-crazy from being here together. Look, Fim....Iran and Israel are already at each other's throats. This would be a good a time as any to have World War III....

Yaroslava kept scanning the crowd for fellow Slavics she could call out to.

After the unfortunate collision with Russia, Sampsa didn't feel like talking to anyone anymore, not even his fellow Nordics. He hadn't been in a too good mood before but now he was just annoyed and frustrated. He had hoped he could at least spend the first day without bumping into any of the countries that caused him headache. He hadn't been on this godforsaken ship for too long and he had already had the pleasure to meet both Sweden and Russia, add Germany to the mix and his day would be just perfect.

Sampsa spotted a bench that miraculously wasn't occupied by anyone. He walked over to it and kicked it, accompanied by a frustrated yell, "Jumalauta!"* The bench tipped over and the countries nearby looked at him with confused or annoyed expressions. Not liking the attention he was getting, Sampsa stomped a little farther away muttering under his breath, "Vois tämä perhanan paatti saapua jo jonnekkin niin pääsis täältä idioottien laumasta..."**

His muttering was caught short when the whole ship came to abrupt stop and Sampsa tumbled to the floor. Getting back on his feet he noticed he wasn't only one the sudden halt had caught by surprise. Frowning, Sampsa made his way outside, as did a couple of others, and was met with a not too pleasant surprise. The ship had collided with a couple of icebergs, in fact the whole seas seemed to be littering ice.

*"Jumalauta!" -Another swear word, we Finns have loads of those and some of them are pretty hard to translate. This one's somewhere along the lines of 'God dammit'.
**"Vois tämä perhanan paatti saapua jo jonnekkin niin pääsis täältä idioottien laumasta..." -'This damn boat could already arrive somewhere so I could get out of this herd of idiots...'

(I kinda figured the life on the boat was getting kinda boring so... Icebergs! :p)

The first thing I thought of when the ship came to a halt was, my gun was loaded. Everything seemed to slow down as I fell forward, my hands came up to my face to protect it, but nothing stopped me from landing on the G36. It dug into the area near my stomach, also causing the buttons and zipper on my cloak to dig into my front. I was left winded, rolling with my arms wrapped around my stomach for a few seconds, then coming to my senses and lifting myself. I glared down at my G36, but sighing with relief that the trigger did not get caught on anything. I picked up the gun, strapping it back over my shoulders. With that out of the way, I decided to see what was going on. Since my seat was near the front of the ship, it was easy to get outside and investigate. There were already a number of people outside, crowding around the edges of the ship, gawking at what looked like... icebergs? I frowned, making my way through a small crowd of people to get a better view. It seemed the vast ocean ahead and around us was dotted with many icebergs of varying sizes. I was now growing impatient. `Wer im Namen der Hölle treibt diese Sache? Wie sind wir hier gelandet? I could see no easy way to manoeuvre through the icebergs, we would possibly have to turn around and find another way.

`Wer im Namen der Hölle treibt diese Sache? Wie sind wir hier gelandet? - Not totally correct, but something like: Who the hell is driving this thing? How did we end up here?

The Russian was just getting comfortable when an unforeseen jolt broke her train of thought. Yaroslava tumbled forward from the bench, catching herself in an off-balanced roll. Despite this, she still landed on her feet, although slightly dizzy. "Bozhe Moyy!*" she exclaimed.

She noticed that most of the others were also caught quite unawares. What could have caused that? We're not under attack, right? Looking around again, it seemed that people were gathering at the bow of the ship. The air was tense, more so than usual. Everyone stopped fighting to gaze upon the spectacle, whatever it was, from the railings. Looks like we've been surrounded...by....

Her thoughts wandered off as she leaned over the nearest side of the ship, discovering a field of ice around them. Did the Captain fall asleep or something? "Neu....my nikuda nye poy'deym....**"

Watching the other lady walk away, Alon sighed to herself. She just hoped that there won't be any more fights in the future as they won't be going anywhere from it. It disappointed her in a way to see the people still caught up in the past and forgetting about thinking what this mission requires of them to do. As she would rather not lecture them about it (this will start more fights, she thought), she just preferred to be kind to everyone in hopes that they would follow suit. Deep down, Alon prayed that her patience would be thick enough for this, as racism annoys her as a whole. The young lady then decided to stand up and stretch a little. Putting her jacket, scarf and hat back on, Alon decided to head towards the front of the ship to see how far they still needed to go before they hit land. It was then she realiZed from the giggles behind her that someone decided to make fun of her kind.

"Oh look, a housemaid on board." Someone called out to her. Alon stopped for a while before walking away again, trying her best to ignore them. The man however, did not stop. "Have you turned the bed yet?" He said aloud while enunciating his words, mocking the Filipina and making her look like she did not understand a thing. Of course, this somehow made her blood simmer. She turned around and forced out a smile. "Why of course, kind sir. Would you like for me to change your diaper as well?" She asked sweetly, earning a light laugh from the man's companions. Turning around once more, Alon walked swiftly towards the window before any fight could start on her end. It was then when she reached the window sill did the ship rocked sharply, she almost lost her balance and held on to the nearest pole to keep herself from stumbling over.

"Juskupomariosep!" (1) Alon muttered sharply without meaning to. As the ship came to a halt, Alon fixed herself and stood up straight, eventually peeking through the window only to see everything blocked in ice. The young lady turned around and called out.

"Did anyone get hurt?

Sampsa soon got annoyed by all the people showing him trying to get a good look at what was going on. He started making his way back inside where he could at least breathe but it was easier said than done. Eventually, he did get out of the swarm of people with great effort and a variety of colourful curses. Sampsa walked a bit farther away from the rest of the people, trying to think what they all should do next. Obviously, there would be no happy ending if they were stuck here. They would have to keep going somehow.

His musings were interrupted as the ship started tilting to the side. Sampsa grabbed a pole to avoid falling over again, "Mitäs pirua tää nyt on!?"* When he got over the surprise and confusion, realization dawned on him, the icebergs must've made a hole in the keel of the ship, they were sinking. "Ei helvetti!"** Sampsa took a quick look around and saw that others had came to the same conclusion as he had. To put it mildly, they were screwed.

*"Mitäs pirua tää nyt on!?" -'What in the name of the devil is this!?'

Sorry if I hadn't posted for a while, I had no idea how to continue this, but luckily my writers-block came to end just now!

This was all very ordinary for me, it was the same bloody white substance that almost drove humanity to extinction and now, the very same thing is delaying humanity's last hope. The people behind me were continuously muttering something. They had a topic to discuss about, now they will rant about the same nonsense all day long. Life on the boat was far worse than the condition outside, you could hear a variety of curses and swear's in every known language. For the past few minutes I had been keeping a watchful eye on the people and nothing seems to calm them down. Most of them were being the goodie-two-shoes by comforting and helping the other out, where as most of them just kept their distance from the others and pretended that they were in their own little bubble. The tension grew in the air as I heard a few representatives blaming one another for the havoc that was caused on this large metal giant. I blamed no one except myself, why had I left the comforts of my home even if it was buried in ice?
I slowly muttered something in my own language as I proceeded towards the captains quarters, Salla na ho tou.....us ko ye nahi samajh ata ke agey barfh hai? andha betha hua hai khote ka bacha(1) someone had to find out what happened to the ship.
By the time I had arrived in front of the captains doorstep I heard some gun-shots from down at the crowd, sure I was curious to know who did it but then again, it was none of my business in the first place.
I asked my own reflection in the mirror, with hints of sarcasm in my voice, Challo gee....ab sab talwarien pakar kar aik doosare ki gardanien kyun na kaat lein?(2).
The mentality of people on this ship was far to less than I expected, why were they fighting for the honor of their country, when their is no country to fight for in the first place? haven't our home-lands been perished in ice and snow? only a few truly understood the task at hand. There were some delinquent-like people standing in front of the captains doorstep, they sneered at me and made some grunting noises. I got up them and spoke, "Would you kindly step aside now?....I want to speak with the captain and your in my way" I tried to get past them by talking to them using courtesy but they just slapped me in the face and laughed out loud. I had to control my anger for now....don't want to get blood on my hands so soon, so I came very close to his face and spoke in a serious tone with my expression similar to a statues, "Don't you understand English? now get aside dip-shit" I attempted to get past them the second time, but their leader just gripped my collar and spoke something.
The rascal threw some droplets of spit on my face as he spoke to me in his screwed language. He let go of my collar and I started to look serious and calm, most of the gang started to laugh at my behavior and the leader just continued to make fun of me. After the gang had their last minute fun and giggles, the leader looked at me again but this time patted my head, he had crossed all limits now....I shouted out loud, ULLU KA PATHA!(3) and landed one magnificent bullet punch straight in his gut, making him curl up into a little ball and fall on the floor like the miserable piece of shit he was. I looked at the others, and they looked at me at their own ugly way, looks like I'll be needing my trench-knife on this one Kitni hadiyaan torni hain baykariyoun?(4) I'm gonna be having some extra fun today.....

~**Translations**~
(1)That idiot.....doesn't he know there's ice floating up ahead? That piece of crap is blind
(2)There we go....why don't we all get some swords and cut each others neck off, why don't we?
(3)It means Asshole in Urdu
(4)How many bones should I break?

Sorry about the language.....

At this point, many people onboard were thrown into a near-panic. The metal holding the ship together groaned in a subdued, almost muffled way. The ship lurched, and it felt like they were descending. Yaroslava was sure of it now. They were sinking.

She wrapped the crook of her arm around one of the inner rails to stabilize herself. Of course, she'd never dream of staying there for long. The people who kept moving were usually the ones who lived. With that in mind, Yaroslava walked quickly but carefully along the side of the ship, planning to make her way to the Captain's room. Do we have lifeboats? she thought. Idiot. Nothing should work properly in that death trap.

She was nearly to the doorway when a few shots were fired from somewhere near her. Instinctively, she ducked, still gripping the rail. Who did that? Yaroslava glanced around, unsure if she should change her destination. Ani dolzhny'byyt bezumnym*..... someone's definitely going to get hurt if this keeps up.

Sampsa cursed as people around him started panicking. Everyone tramping over each other in sheer panic and desperate attempts to save themselves wasn't exactly what they needed right now. If they were to lose anyone the whole quest would be doomed, according to that damn lore, all nations had to be united in that godforsaken 'untouched land' and they hadn't exactly brought any spare's with them. Naturally, there had to be some lifeboats on this ship, right? So maybe if they just calmed down and loaded everyone in them in orderly fashion, everyone could come out of this alive.

Sampsa let go of his grip on the pole and stepped forward and was about to tell everyone to 'shut the hell up and calm down' when the ship tilted violently. He was sent sliding across the room on his back, while surprised shrieks echoied through the ship, and ended up bumping into some unfortunate person on the other side of the room. Sampsa was too, one of the unforunates, as an another person slid through the floor right after him and crashed into him, succesfully knocking the wind out of him.

Gasping for breath, Sampsa tried to scramble out of the heap of people, which wasn't too easy as others had the same goal as he did and the ship still wasn't fully settled. However, he did manage to get away from the mass of people after a while of trying and scrambled little farther away with unsteady steps, panting slightly. "I really hope there was no one outside anymore." Yli laidan lentäneitä idiootteja tässä vielä kaivattaiskiin...*

OOC: I had a feeling that this was slowly dying -_-

This situation was similar to the titanic's, everybody going berserk and jumping on each-other in order to save his life. Was the life of another's companion not worthy to save? We need all the men we can get in order to get to this untouched land. I grunted as one of the gang member's punched me in the gut, I wasn't really paying any attention to the fight anyways. He had a smug grin on his face, I really wanted to throw him off board but had enough self-control to spare his miserable life. I used my weighted knuckle glove to deliver a heavy full forced punch on his center, causing instant fainting. "Pick on somebody your own size will ya?" the other gang members ran off to get some support for themselves. This ship was equal to any rocking chair.

I grabbed the ledge and kicked open the captains door to his room. He was high on alcohol, his eyes were sore and there was a unusually strange smell in the air, it made my head spin and caused a little blurriness. I stopped and scanned the area, there were broken bottles and empty cans of food. The hog must've ate everything he got his hands on, leaving the scraps for us. I felt being treated like rat at the moment, my desire to slap the man had to be tamed. I got close to him and yelled, "Hey! snap out of it, the damn ship is sinking!" All he did was mindlessly place his hand on my face. I snarled and pushed him on the floor. I did spent some time working for the navy but only as a field agent, never before have I controlled a ship, Just great! a drunk captain is just what we need... I looked for anything to contact the people on the ship with, luckily there was an announcement system installed next to the steering. I grabbed the mike and tapped it in order to check if it is in working condition. The mike worked, I cleared my throat and spoke out loud in English, "If anyone can understand this message, please come to the captains quarters fast!" then prayed that somebody would come and help out.

Well I can drive a small boat! Maybe I should give it a try... Som thought. She carefully walked to the captains pilot room, as fast as her legs could carry her to.

Not Mega-able but kinda rare to hatch a female, huh?...
