Spartan117 falls to the ground, injured severely by Lucifer's attacks. He coughed and collapsed. He hadn't wanted to hurt him, so he had taken the hits instead.

Vahlen blinked as she looked at the scene around her. She grabbed her pistol and fired at the enemy, but missed. It blinked at her, as if in recognition. She fired another bullet, ignoring the others.

It was the sound of a far off pistol being fired that brought the Chief back around. (Just so everyone knows, Ash Kalos has given me permssion to control his charachter while he is away.) Percy was groaning in pain. Lucifer was on the ground. He didn't seem to be conciouss.The Spartan swore. He threw Lucifer over one shoulder and supported Jackson with the other. There was no sign of Sgt. Kazuma or Sgt. Johnson. Slowly, the Spartan made his way through the battlefield. He saw the Marine Lucifer had taken the Rifle from before the battle, dead. "This is Master Chief Petty Officer 117, reporting in. I have two injured Marines over here. Does anyone copy? Rally Point Bravo? Point Charlie? Command?" He stopped. He felt a feeling he hadn't felt in years. He felt fear. "Anyone?" He whispered. He thought back to the deaths of Blue team. He couldn't let that happen again. He trudged on.

Vahlen swore as she was captured. T'was all part of a plan. Howver, to give credence to it, she struggled and gave the enemy a hard time. It bound her up and gagged her for good measure. "Spy one, what do you have to report?" It said.
"Not much." Vahlen replied. "But unless you want to die, I suggest you take thr black one down with a head shot or something instantaneous. He's also a bit insane and deranged. Now let me stab you."
"Alright. But please, avoid anything fatal." It said. Vahlen nodded as she stabbed it in the tigh, undid her bounds, and scrambled away from the battlefield.

The Chief saw Vahlen struggling with an Elite in the distance. If his suspicions were true... he stood, observing. The Elite gave up far too easily. He had known them to keep fighting, even after being completely run through with energy swords, let alone a small cut with a knife. Something was just not right...

Vahlen cringed as she assesed the battlefield. It seems that the humans were losing, but with their track record, reinforcements could be streaming in right this instant. Not a matter. The Elite was now chasing her across the battlefield as she 'struggled' to get away. "Oy!" She yelled as said the Elite grabbed hold of her leg. She tried to reach her pistol, but it stopped her. "Tell the humans that they're toast." He said before pushing her away, hard.

The Chief knew for a fact that the Elite had tripped on purpose. He decided to confront Valhen when they got back to base. As it was, he dropped Lucifer and Percy and took out his Battle Rifle and aimed. Soon, the Elite lay dead, his face half hidden in his own blood.

Vahlen knew the Chief knew. It was no matter. During her short time, she had made away with data about their plans, tactics and whatnot. T'was better than nothing, after all. As for the message... she supposed the Elite was right. The humans were doomed. Soon, aliens would be flocking here en masse, and the humans would all die. Her species would be ahnialited. She would then be killed. Call her crazy. She didn't care. Time to die, humans.

"Command?" Asked Chief. "We read you, five-by-five."came the reply. "We need to change our plans. All of them. Come up with new tactics and Weaponry. Promethean, if you can. And as soon as Vahlen gets back to any UNSC base... drop her." He told them. Humanity was not going to be beaten that easily. Snap back to reality, Covenant. thought the Chief. And enjoy your time there, before we knock all sense out of you. Covenant Capital city, here we come.

"I want Fire- Teams Echo, Crimson, Red, Violet to secure this position. Team Beta, make your way to the City. Act like a normal patrol team. Rebound, Hercules and Zeus, you come with me and Alpha to the Covenant High Capital." Ordered the Chief. "I want a tight net formation around Earth. All remaining Fire-Teams will stay at a 20 km distance, all around the planet. Stealth trackers enabled. Nothing gets in or out. You have my permission to shoot down anything flying over 10, 000 feet or anything approaching Earth. Rebound, Hercules, Zeus, you are now R, H and Z, for this mission. Let's go." He said, climbing onto one of two Pelicans. 30 Spartans followed him. Thirty of us, Thought the Chief And a few billion of them. Piss poor odds for the inhuman freaks.

"Someone get me my armor." Vahlen said as she entered the Covenant base. "The disguise has been uncovered. Oh, and I believe that they plan to shoot anything above 10,000 feet or approaching Earth." Soon enough, a grunt brought her heavily modified Covenant armor. It marked her as an ally, and a higher up in the ruling system.

Covenant Capital: High Charity
"Okay Marines. This entire space city is powered by a giant ship reactor. That's our target. We set up two satchel charges there and bail. I'll stay and guard them, make sure the Covenant don't get to it. We're going home only one Spartan short Marines. That's me. Is that clear? Snipers and Scouts will go in first, Snipers up top and Scouts on the first level. Go in Ghost until first contact. You have permission to eliminate anything without making noise until first shots fired. As soon as they are, all assault teams will follow. HELL YEAH?" Asked the Chief.

"HELL YEAH!" Shouted the Marines.

"Hell yeah." Said the Chief. "WEAPON CHECK! WE DROP IN FIVE! Oh, and one last thing. We will get ODST assist until the halfway point." Said the Chief, pointing at Drop Pods in the distance. "Gear up. We're goin' in. Johnson, any words of motivation?" Asked the Chief.

"Of course. LISTEN UP, MARINES. WHEN I JOINED THE CORPS, WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY FANCY SCHNACY TANKS! WE HAD STICKS!"
The Chief smiled, seeing where this was going.

"TWO STICKS AND A ROCK FOR THE ENTIRE PLATOON! AND WE HAD TO SHARE THE ROCK! BUCK UP, YOU ARE A GROUP OF VERY LUCKY MARINES!" Finished the Sergeant.

"Thank you Johnson. LET'S MOVE OUT!" Shouted the Chief.

While the Scouts were moving up, Johnson was speaking to the Chief. "John, you sure you want to... you know... DIE?" Asked the Sergeant. "If it helps bring an end to the war." Suddenly they heard bullets. "MOVE!" Ordered the Chief. They all attacked with the Promethean technology. Chief had a Boltshot(Promethean pistol) and a Supressor( Promethean Assault Rifle). He smiled. He knew that the Promethean technology out did the Covenant technology, anyday. They had also made armour upgrades using Promethean armour. All this had been done in secret, so any Covenant spy's thought that their armour didn't have, say, auto deflection shields and the power to make an auto- sentry appear out of nowhere.
