The day was nearing to a close when Adderstar walked through the bushes. His eyes flicked across Ripplestar's - no, his camp. "StarClan has accepted me as a leader!" He exclaimed. "I have received my nine lives from our ancestors!"

Bluemist placed a bit of cobweb into a neat pile in the medicine den. The proud she-cat had just finished tidying up the place when she heard the new leader's loud mewl. She shook her head slightly, taking a few paw steps outside her den to watch the leader come in through the bushes of camp. Bluemist took a seat on top of a cool rock, watching Adderstar with curiosity. She wondered how he would do as a leader, but through it all she knew she would still stand by him, no matter how good or bad a leader he was.

Adderstar looked at Bluemist and dipped his head. "Hello," he mewed quietly, now painfully unsure of what to do.

(Sounds good.)

Swiftpaw blinked open his blue eyes and opened his jaws wide in a yawn, as he'd been napping in the time Adderstar was gone. He padded out of the apprentices den, hearing his mentor, and now his leader's, yowl. His eyes flickered around the camp until he spotted Adderstar and raced over.

"Swiftpaw!" Adderstar purred. A thought suddenly popped into his train of thought and he hurried up the Gathering Rock. "Cats of SkyClan, Ripplestar was a great and inspiring cat. I never would have thought that I would become leader, and I can only hope to follow the pawsteps set down by him." Adderstar didn't dawdle any longer with putting off the ceremony.

"I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of SkyClan is Lightwind."

Other: Hollykit was found by an unamed SkyClan cat by a bush, abandoned and mewling. She has been in SkyClan ever since then (she was 2 moons back then) and is very touchy about where she came from (ex: if a cat teases her about where she came from, Hollykit will protest that she is a SkyClanner through-and-through, which is true because of her SkyClan ancestors. She knows because she slightly remembers her mother saying this.)

Description: Echopaw's back is an orange-y tabby (which reaches up to her forehead). She has a rather pink nose, luminous amber eyes, and the rest of her is white along with her tail tip. Her claws which she also inherited from her father are very, very sharp. Because she works very hard to become a warrior, Echopaw is rather strong (but she doesn't look like it). She was born with her tail tip slightly crooked.

Other: Echopaw was born in SkyClan, but her mother died kitting and her father ran away in devastation. As the oldest apprentice, she is known for her amazing battle skills, something she inherited from both her father and her mother. Her skills are not balanced; Echopaw is rather sloppy at hunting.

Hollykit woke up to the sound of the breeze brushing the green grass stalks together, and the meowing of Adderstar by the camp. The tabby she-kit wriggled in her small moss nest by the corner, and blithely she propped herself up into a sit with her back straight and her fluffy kit fur sticking out wildly. The sun's bright rays glimmered warmly onto Hollykit, reminded her vividly of hearth. Her hearth was found at SkyClan, and only SkyClan. Hollykit knew nowhere else among the grounds of the creeks, the meadows, the forests, or the moors of anywhere where she she every stalk, every weed, and every corner.
Hollykit scrambled onto her paws, her brown ears perking as she saw a lithe apprentice pad into the Nursery, firmly holding two mice scruffs in her mouth. She had an orange tabby coat on her back, but the rest of the she-cat was white. "Echopaw!" Hollykit squealed, bouncing giddily over to the battle prodigy. Echopaw's bright amber eyes acknowledged Hollykit. She dropped a mouse by Hollykit's paws, and one in front of Stonekit.
"Hello, Hollykit." Echopaw meowed, her tail flicking rather elegantly. Echopaw padded out of the Nursery. Cheerfully, Hollykit turned over to Stonekit. "Stonekit, want to play moss ball?" She mewled, knowing the kit was probably a bit too young for play fights.

After a moment, Swiftpaw padded away from his mentor. He heard voices from the nursery and imagined Echpaw had offered a game of moss ball. What to do, he wondered.
