I think, what this site is lacking, is Egg Stages.
There could be 5 different stages, showing us how close it is till our eggs will hatch. I tried making some sprites:



This would be quite handy, and easy to tell when It'll hatch.

There could also be an option to turn them off and on ^^

no support, it's already easy enough and far more accurate to tell how close an egg is to hatching by looking at the actual ehp number

But the eggs look kinda dull.
The EHP number also doesn't stand out, and get
confused sometimes. I think this would
be easier for me.
On my phone, it also doesn't show the EHP
number.

no support, as Star say, it is easy just need to go to your profile and you can watch it,
and also, in my phone work( i use android & iOS).
if you see it in "Your Party" you can see it better

it's showed up on my phone when i've been on it before as well, i use an android

also, dull is a a matter of differing aesthetic opinions

and i just don't like the cracks lol :p

I use a blackberry, but the EHP doesn't show :(

No support, as stated above EHP is enough to tell when they're about to hatch. Even without being able to see EHP they hatch on their own so what's the point of knowing when?
As for them looking "dull" I personally love the look of these eggs over sites like Pokefarm & GPX+ who have every egg colored and fancied up. These eggs look just like they do in the games. ( I especially love the Retro ones total nostalgia bomb)

I Support. I like this idea and I think it's actually pretty cute. Imagine an Azurill close to hatching, looking through a small hole in the egg °3°

No support. Do chicken eggs start cracking when they're only half developed? Weird question, I know. But if they did, all the egg fluids would leak out and the chick would die. They only break out when they're ready to hatch, why would Pokemon be any different? In the games, they're aren't cracks until it hatches. I would only support if it were for the last 5-10% of EHP, but for now, no support.

I support. If we get more users that play pokeheroes on their phones, and its hard to tell whether or not the egg is ready to hatch, that could deter users from this site. Perhaps we could make the images optional? Like you could have an option to have the sequence visible? I don't know if that would be too hard to do or not, but an option like that would be good. c:

In pretty sure Pokefarm uses image of cracks plastered over the egg image itself, so if similar coding is used here, maybe that would be possible.

Well i like mirej's idea with maybe the cracks and a piece of the egg shell laying on the ground with a pokemon head poking out of the little hole it could be like a shadow so you dont know what pokemon it is but...
