I support this too - I don't have radar just yet but I'd still love to see this implemented just to make it a little bit easier.

If riako impement this then, which will be the special thing of have a Premium account?.Apart of the lab speed, daycare, banner and the forum.
I, think it is good in the current way, since, you don't need to pay real money to buy more batteries(well, there is an option to do it but, more of us prefer pay gems or PD for it, right? xD)

Of course it would be awesome to have this feature, making hunts way easier. But you can hunt shinies without paying real money, and this is a huge advantage in comparison to PokeFarm for example. I hated to buy the Pokeradar batteries on PF, so I was glad we could hunt here without Premium and real life money.
If Riako decides to agree to this, I would be very happy. But on the other hand, we should just be happy that we already HAVE the possibility to hunt without real money.

yes
atleast half of it can be implemented
the chain doesn't break but we pay 50k pd/ 50 nuggets/ or 50 elctric gems for it.
the premium members have the advantage that they don't have to pay any money after shiny.
also another advantage is that this would give an idea to us and other users about how many total eggs did we hatch in the chain.

Another possible solution is.

This suggestion will be used for premium users.
(As in they need to pay for the batteries again after they finish their hunt)
If they pay it again, they will keep their chain.

= Makes it more reasonable that normal players will lose their chain once they finish their hunt.

Just another idea!

PD is easily obtained as well, since people can sell their shinies for well over 50k! Hence premium users will still make a profit.

I like Frankenstein's idea :p I was a premium for a little over a month, and I thought it was kinda crazy that the shinies were almost free *-* Before that, I thought that premium members bought batteries once and then had a chain for as long as they wanted until they broke it.

Well, after all this, I don't think we are talking on the correct topic, because, talk is about preventing the breakage of shiny hunt when a shiny hatches.
The point is whether it gets implemented or not, its advantages and disadvantages.
But still don't take any offence, i just want that we talk on the shiny hunt rather than discussing whether the money (50k)would be cancelled or not?\

Me personally I feel the ability to keep a chain going after hatching a Shiny should be a Premium exclusive perk for the Radar. If this ability was added for Non-Premium users however then the PD price for buying new batteries should be increased because let's be honest 50,000 isn't hard to get at all.

Shreyash Jain, the point of a suggestion thread is not exclusively to be approved or disapproved, but to be reviewed, critiqued, and built upon as well. Their posts were not off-topic.
That said, however, I don't support Frankenstein's idea. What about the users who have premium at the time that the suggestion is implemented? They already paid for it, so why should their bonuses be suddenly reduced in the middle of their time? Even worse, what if Riako changes his mind and adds the bonus back after their time ends? I think that these kinds of things would end badly for Riako and for the site, so I think that either the non-Premium users should be the ones for which this suggestion is implemented or nobody at all.
I already said that I supported, but I realize how easy it is to get money (I didn't have as much when I posted), so I now agree with iOlrickx in that it should cost a lot more than when you first got batteries.

Yep, I also support Frankestein's and CarpetMonster's ideas.
Chain should be continued, even though we have to pay higher than 50k.

Shreyash_Jain, I would like it if you didn't tell people not to explain their choices. It's important for the staff to know why the suggestion should be implemented; I believe they factor in more than how many people like the idea.

There is a simple idea (already stated before)
We pay 50k after every shiny, but the chain doesn't break.
If needed, we can pay 100k also, as PD is very easy to earn.

It's easy for us to say "an easier shiny hunt? Sign me up!" But who said shiny hunting was easy? This entire site is practically based around shiny hunting, so why are we making that easier? I understand it sucks having to buy batteries and such but if you don't want to there is another option: buy premium. If you can't/won't buy it then why are we trying to make it easier for people who don't?

To me this is like the people suggesting that interactions be worth more, that daycare tells you all the details about an egg before you adopt it, that tall grass is see through. All ways to make a game easier that maybe wasn't intended to be easy. Seriously if shiny hunting became easy then what? What would this site have that's challenging and gives us something to work for?

I'm saying if you don't want to pay for all the batteries then buy premium, if you don't want to do that then sorry but you should have to buy batteries. Again, it's easy to say "I want an easy way out" but thinking long term when you make something easier and everyone is racking up shinies they won't be special anymore and the game won't be as challenging.

No support from me either. As lunagillian said, shiny hunting is supposed to be hard, that's half the fun. If everything on this site was easy to get, it would be boring. I am yet to catch my first shiny, but when I do I want the satisfaction of knowing I worked hard for it and deserve it because of that hard work.

You do seem to be questioning premium so I will say this: me having enough money to invest in this game and get perks for it is difficult on its own. Haha it's like working a job, getting some extra money, and putting it here, it's challenging and rewarding to finally be able to buy something after paying bills and food and gas (of course younger members may not know what I'm talking about but consider their parents I suppose).

And if you aren't questioning premium then what do you mean by difficult for everyone? Premium is the only side that gets it "easier" but we pay real money to get that. So yes, it is difficult all around, be it with virtual money or real money, people are challenged by shiny hunting.
