Honestly for someone who DOESN'T own a premium account it really is a pain to collect shinys. Those with premium, you're really lucky.

Honestly, you hatch about 40 eggs and that's you maximum chance of getting a shiny right? But then only when you receive your first shiny your pokeradar resets. It's really disappointing to me that I worked so hard to get only 1 shiny (Plus it's quite expensive for batteries too)

So that's my argument, what I want to make things a bit more fair but for premium members to still have more luxury is this suggestion.

SUGGESTION:
When you hatch your first shiny, you get a notification like "Your pokeradar is ABOUT to run out of battery! Recharge it now!" So you buy a some more batteries maybe at 20%-75%???? of the price of the initial fee so you can keep on hunting the same shiny and collect all the stages. This way whenever you hatch a shiny you can chose to give it more batteries to continue your chain! Also every time you hatch a shiny you have to pay more to continue your chain.

*Note
Only applies to non-premium members

For example:
I was hunting shiny purrloins a while ago. (finally got my first one)

So you hatch your first shiny your pokeradar will ask you for more batteries is you want to continue your chain, then just select yes or no. Then just chose your payment type and it's done. You get to continue your chain, if you want to hatch more after your second shiny just pay again!

Thanks for reading.

I support this :p I haven't hatched my first shiny yet, but it's such a pain (Over 150 eggs :I) I'm a little confused about something: are you suggesting that the chain continues after purchasing the slightly cheaper batteries, or that it resets to zero? (I prefer the former xD)

I'd love this, saying I'm still saving up for batteries. I'm going to want more than just one Slowpoke, Bellsprout, and Machop!(There's a good reason for all of those)

I say, FULL SUPPORT!!

I'm not sure about this. It's easy enough to shiny hunt as it is... Maybe if you pay the same amount or more to continue your chain, I'd agree.

I also think it should be the same amount as when you first got batteries, but having a last-minute chance to continue your chain would be awesome! I still haven't started my chain yet, but I would want to continue my chain instead of starting a new one if I had gotten that far!
I support!

Thanks for the support guys, glad we share the same feelings.

But I'd like some more opinions from premium members as well, on their feelings if this is fair enough.

Price can be negotiable after all, whether this gets implemented or not is the problem.

90% Support
I think this is a good idea, but maybe
give the 'Pokeradar' a different name.
We don't want to be exactly like Pokefarm.

It's called a Pokeradar in the actual Pokemon games, it wasn't taken from Pokefarm :p

I understand, but there aren't any 'Explorer Bags' in the games.

*Ignore my old previous messages. I was newbish, and the main post changed anyways x'D*

I guess I support? But I'm also a little neutral.
Premium ship wont be such a huge thing anymore, and I guess richer people will take advantage, and wont purchase premium and can still hunt.

Well, there are other benefits to premium membership besides shinies, such as extra eggs in the daycare and more EHP/EXP, and some premium members don't shiny-hunt at all :p It'll still be pretty expensive though.

True. But I still think rich people with no premium will take advantage x'D. 50k isn't that much to people with 1mill PD.

I have a bit over a million PD, and I still think that 50k would take a pretty big chunk out of it xD And people could profit off these shinies by selling them for more than 50k (which they do anyway).

well, what i think is that this should be implemented, even though we have to pay the price after every shiny.
