Swirlkit tried to conceal herself in the bushes. Nope, didn't work. LightningSky grabbed her scruff and shoved her into this cave. it smelled faintly of Lilykit. "Lilykit..." Swirlkit whimpered

Plopping down next to Hazekit, Lilykit watched the patrol to HollyClan move out. Robinwing, Maplefur, and Greeneyes. As they padded out of camp, Lilykit started to whimper in Hazekit's tail.

Hazekit had gone to his mother for a little bit, because she wanted him to help her with who knows what. Maybe his mother just wanted to check on him, for she was a little overprotective.

Suddenly, he went back outside of the nursery to see all the kits scattering around, and Swirlkit missing. HollyClan warriors were running out of the Clan; what had happened?!

"What did I miss?" Hazekit asked, shocked as Lilykit began to whimper into his tail. He nudged her with his nose, trying to comfort her. "Where is Swirlkit?"

"I don't know!" the tabby she-kit wailed. "I woke up last night and she was gone!" Lilykit cried. Gingerly she stood up, shaking a bit. "HollyClan just attacked a while ago. They took me, but I escaped. Now Swirlkit is missing!" Lilykit whimpered.

"Well why are they taking kits?!" Hazekit asked, flicking his tail nervously. "We didn't do anything to them..."
The grey-furred tom suddenly felt very happy that his mom didn't want him outside.
Then again, he could have saved Swirlkit, or at least attempted to...cue the massive guilt.

"They're HollyClan." Lilykit grumbled. Seeing the guilt on Hazekit's expression, Lilykit sighed. "Woke up and she was gone. Nothing much to do about it." The she-kit sighed. She flopped on the wild, grassy field at the edge of camp.

Seeing the sadness on Lilykit's face from losing her friend, Hazekit padded towards her, laying next to her in the lush field of grass near the camp's edge.
"Hey..." he whispered in a hushed voice, looking around to see if anyone else was there to listen. "Why don't we go find her ourselves?"

Lilykit sprang up to her paws, squishing the wild stalks of grass. "Lets go!" she mewled. Thundercloud padded up and eyed Lilykit suspiciously. "Go where?" she meowed. "Hide and seek," Lilykit meowed joyfully. She was a fairly good liar, but she was truthful most of the time. Flattening out her pelt, she flicked her now sleek tail. Stealthily, Lilykit dashed over to a bush near the edge of camp. She flicked her tail at Hazekit. "All clear, no guards," she whispered.

Scanning around, she crept out of the entrance, and hid behind a tree. She knew the way to HollyClan camp, but they'd have to go past the river. Waiting for Hazekit, she nodded forwards as he was hid behind a tree.

Hazekit on the other hand was probably the world's worst liar. He couldn't lie about anything; and if he did, he'd end up telling the truth later out of guilt. It was basically a lose-lose situation.

So instead of agreeing, the fluffy pale gray kit nodded, putting his head in his paws and counting to ten. He opened one eye, scanning around for Thundercloud(or any other cats for that matter), before bounding towards the bush Lilykit was in.

The pair headed towards a tree, hiding behind it before moving onto another tree, then another, and then another until they were hidden by the tall plants. All they would have to look out for were patrols, which they would hopefully be able to scent and hide before getting too close.

"My mom taught me a trick about masking your scent," Hazekit smiled, his pale blue eyes bright with excitement. "It will be wet, but at the scream, if we splash around in it for long enough, our DuskClan scent will wear right off!" He eagerly hopped to another tree, not having such an amazing adventure ever before, for he was usually stuck in the nursery with Orangevine. "We can roll in some leaves once we get to HollyClan territory and pretend to be rogue-kits!"

Lilykit chuckled. "Thats a smart idea, Hazekit. But they know who I am" Lilykit pointed out. "We'll have to stealth our way in..." The she-kit meowed. As she sprinted to the river, she skidded to a stop at the roaring banks. Smooth granite boulders were centered in the river, they were slippery but made a path. This was the edge of DuskClan border. As she gave a massive leap onto the stepping stone, she merely slipped but regained balance. She stepped aside, waiting for Hazekit to leap on the rock. If he fell, Lilykit was sure to catch him.

"It's still a good idea to mask your scent so they won't see us coming," Hazekit replied, looking down at the river. It had a faster running current than he remembered....

Hazekit also remembered he couldn't swim.

Well...this was for Swirlkit, right?

He dipped his front paws into the water, then slid in, but only at the bank, flipping around and twisting himself in the water. He yelped as he began getting sucked away by the current and quickly ran out, shaking hout his wet pelt. "Yuck, it's cold..." he murmured, shivering. "The leaf-green sun should dry me off soon, though..."

That current was scary, so the two definitely did not want to get sucked into it or it would be bye-bye for three of the Clan's kits. He took a deep breath and leaped onto the rock, landing almost perfectly on it.

It helped that the rock was only about a foot away from the bank, didn't it?

Lilykit laughed. This was pretty fun. Seeing the fear in Hazekit, she meowed reassuringly. "I won't let you slip, Hazekit." Lilykit's fluffy, tawny-brown tail flicked.

The white on the tip of her tail seemed to glimmer. As she jumped on the second stone, she waited for Hazekit to come along. Her heart was pouding like the wavy roars of the water. Hazekit had nearly slipped off balance, but Lilykit helped the silvery tom back on the track. Leaping on the last stone, she and Hazekit had finished the path. She nudged him playfully. "See? You did it!" Lilykit purred. They had reached HollyClan territory, as Lilykit plunged into a puddle of mud.

Rolling in the mud, she dragged Hazekit in the puddle aswell.

Hazekit smiled, pleased with himself. "Heh, yeah, we did!" He meowed, calling out a "Hey!" and laughing as Lilykit pulled him into the mud with her.

The mud made Lilykit look almost completely brown, which would help with their stealth mission if they got caught. He was now gray and brown as well, so if they recognized the pair from DuskClan, hopefully they no longer would.

"Yuck, I smell weird," Hazekit laughed, walking out of the mud. "WE'd better dry off our paws so we don't leave tracks."

Lilykit nodded. A large land of fog started to cover the territory. Her muddy tail flicked as she brushed her paws against the stiff, short stalks of dry grass.

Swirlkit wailed in fear as some Hollyclan members closed up upon her. "Scared?" taunted a she-cat. Swirlkit suddenly stood up and slashed at her. "YEOWCH!" cried the she-cat as Swirlkit managed to draw a little blood from her face. THen the sh-cat fell from shock, as Swirlkit bristled with fear. 'Oh no! Not again!' she was thrown to the cave where Lilykit had been. Swirlkit felt her sholder ache. She sighed and went to sleep.

The lithe, thin kits crept stealthily into the heart of HollyClan camp. It was dark, everyone was sleeping. There were two guards at the cave Swiftkit was spotted, but they were asleep. Hazekit and Lilykit hauled the prisoner she-kit to the exit of the camp. Just than, Lilykit snapped a twig, waking up the guards. "Run!" she screeched. Her claws slashed viciously at a velvet she-cat as they ran to the border. Lilykit failed to stop, but let Swirlkit go so they wouldn't be drug in. Lilykit let out a desperate cry as she slammed onto the smooth stepping stone. She slipped off into the shallow waters, but it reached over her head.

The tabby she-kit was drenched in water, gasping to get over the surface. Her leg creaked with scorching pain, it was broken. Not twisted, but broken. Her claws gripped on a plant, but it merely broke out of the path. She floated to the top and let out a cry. "Help!" she screamed as she slammed into a rock, barely slipping. She stood enough for the rock to hold her, but she would drown in the reaches of the river soon. She was able to reach from the stepping stone.

Nightkit woke up in her den to only find treekit and her in it. She peered around and couldn't ding nothing. Suddenly the leader approached both of us, he sat daon and said "You both are now six moons old. You are now apprentices! Come with me to the apprentices den." He said in a calm tone. Nightkit couldn't believe it! Her and treekit were now known as Nightpaw and Treepaw.

(Time skip, Nightkit lets just pretend we were there when we were apprenticed XD)
Lilypaw in joyed. She was now on her trip to a warrior, even though she had a strict mentor. Robinwing was a bit stern at times, but Lilypaw could learn a lot from this young deputy.

Suddenly, Nightpaw noticed some prey walking along. She wanted to get it, but she couldn't. She had to wait.

Lilypaw was daydreaming in the open field at the edge of camp as Robinwing stood behind her, meowing coldly. "We're going hunting now. Come on, Lilypaw." Robinwing meowed. No 'Hello', or 'Do you want to go hunting?' Just a simple 'Come on, training now'. At least she knows my name, Lilypaw grumbled in her mind. She flattened her chest fur and dashed after her mentor, keeping up without problem.

Looking around to see if there were any other apprentices to train with them, she was a bit surprised to see that they were alone. Most mentors paired up when first training with their apprentice. Robinwing had practically read her thoughts. "They would distract you, young one. I can train you alone, anyway." She shot a dirty glare. The tortoise-shell she-cat was slightly surprised to see that this new apprentice was completely comfortable even under her dirty glare. "What do you know," Robinwing continued.

Without speaking, Lilypaw crouched down in a hunting position. Her stomach barely touched the grassy floors of nature. All Robinwing said was "Keep your tail down." No compliment. Lilypaw shot her tail down, keeping it perfectly still. Her lower jaw departed from her upper jaw as she took in the scents of prey. They were so fresh an unfamiliar to the apprentice, as she jetted towards. "Careful!" her mentor scolded. Lilypaw stealthily pounced at the thrush, but she went too high and the thrush flew away.

"Mouse-dung!" Lilypaw grunted in anger. Robinwing meowed in her cold tone. "You did well, apprentice." she forced this out like she'd never complimented even the higher ranks. "Perhaps you're a prodigy on fighting instead." She spoke in a warmer tone. Perhaps the deputy was just uncomfortable about mentoring instead? Maybe.

Lilypaw had picked up the new move quickly-the back-kick. "You're very talented for a beginner." Robinwing nodded in approval. "We'd best get back to camp." Robinwing meowed, as the two of them didn't say anything to each other the way there. Robinwing went to report to the leader, as Lilypaw dropped a wad of moss in the nursery. "Hello, Lilypaw!" Thundercloud purred. She said her name as if it was full of more pride than the leader. Lilypaw and Thundercloud chatted until she was done with the nests, and she padded over to the apprentice den. Her nest was left to Nightpaw's, Right of Hazepaw's, in front of Rowanpaw's, and behind Swiftpaw's. Treekit was younger than them, so he had stayed behind in the nursery until two sunrises.
