She could resist the allure of the wine no longer, all she could hear was talk about it and she saw many of the others indulging themselves. She stood up from her spot by the fire, and slowly made her way over to a waiter, barely stuttering out a meager plea for a drink.

Taking the glass with flushed cheeks and a shy smile she quickly scurries back over to the fireplace. Well that's my social limit for today... With a sigh she sits down and tilts the mask up, just enough so that her lips show and she can take a sip of the wine comfortably. The crimson liquid holds a slight warmth to it, and the aftertaste is familiar. Too familiar...

She gasps as she finally puts a name to the taste, causing her glass to slip and- oh look! there it goes, crashing to the floor, shattering on impact. It seems as though the fire blazes hotter at her distress. Her breathing is ragged as she stumbles backwards from the glass shards.

	Show hidden content did them all on the same drawing, hope turning the hard shape into a sortve feather was okay first one was a snowflake, second one was skiing (or my best interpretation anyway), and the third one was a nutcracker with a feather in his hat. [Read more]
