I knew it was an April Fools. I knew it, and yet...

WHY!?!?!?!

Even for a trollduck, this was a low blow.

At least the site's being kept up for a while. Maybe if you get bored, you could show it some love with an update...

But for a time, Anyone could have gotten it. Which means there are many more Seatran around than Heatran, who was released at the same time, but only as a rare summon from boxes.

So in time, Heatran will probably go down as more are introduced, but for now, Seatran is more numerous, and thus, cheaper.

What's a fair price for a Ho-oh passcode in nuggets?

Since I'm hunting Easter Bunearys, I put the extras up for auction. Earlier, though, when I went to check on them, the sprites (Under the 'Your Auction' part of the main auction house page) were regular buneary instead of easter buneary. I checked the individual auctions, and they showed the right sprite, so it's not a big deal. Just a minor bug I thought i'd mention.

Egg #3 is starting to get on my nerves. I swear that I've checked everywhere that's not the wiki. I just hope its not somewhere on the forums, because that'd be a pain...

I'm so ashamed... Everyone's having trouble with number 6 and number 13 (which I found) but I can't find numbers 3, 9, and 10...

I can see that happening too (I get what you're trying to say now), and yeah, I think that could be solved just by removing berries from the list.

Kalac, I'm not sure if I really understand exactly what you meant, but they wouldn't be promoted any more than the shinies are. I was just refering to the promoted format, which displays what item the auctioned pokemon is holding, not that they would be actually promoted.

You did make me think of something else though (or maybe what you actually meant?), and that's that someone could spam berry auctions so that people see his auction instead of another, similarly priced auction, or else as a means of getting more publicity for their shiny/mega able.

I can think of two ways around this. First, have berries not display on the items sub section (Since who would honestly pay extra for a berry?). Second, Berries could have a whole sub-section. In that case, it might actually be counter-productive since as I already mentioned, no one searchs the auctions for berries.

Any other ideas would be welcome though.

That's a possibility too, but I would think that it would require more coding to do than just using the current auction house.

I'm of two minds on this. As others have pointed out, fossils aren't too rare from boxes, and they're fairly common to trade on the forums, so 400k is way too much.
Moreover, if you can just buy fossils, what's the point of having them as a prize in boxes?

However, I wouldn't be opposed to seeing something like the event passes, where you pay a sum of PD/Nuggets, and you can get unlimited fossils (or designated eggs to keep the price of fossils from crashing) for your hunt until you hatch a shiny.

@Book, What you're saying is true, and that option would still be available, but I cant really see the harm in adding this either. Personally, I don't really go on the forums too much, so it would be much eaiser to open the auction house and do a quick once over the pokemon with items to see if there's anything I need. Also, it removes possible problems like the seller already selling it before you got to it, or having to wait because the seller if offline.

Basically, its not really any different from shinies. Sure, you can probably find every shiny up on the auction house on the forums for cheaper, but sometimes people just want to bid for it. Is it the most cost-effective way? No, but that's no reason not to give them the means to do so.
