day 15 doodles!

ignore the very out of proportion bench LOL. i imagine ninaa is reading about las vegas while visiting for the hundredth time.

the doodle below, music!! ninaa and dusky chilling to music in a treehouse filled with pillows, blankets, carpets, and beanbag chairs! one of my favorite treehouses that ninaa built :3
other than that, some of my ocs have theme songs! grave's is "Logic - 1-800-273-8255 ft. Alessia Cara, Khalid", ninaa's is "Billie Eilish - LUNCH", and dani's is "Sam Fischer, Demi Lovato - What Other People Say"
additionally, i do have some individual spotify playlists for dani, grave, apex, ninaa, kuroo, and krypt! these are songs that represent them or what they'd listen to. and i also have a ninaa + dusky playlist for songs that represent their relationship or that they'd sing along to o3o i luv my ocs!! OCtober is wonderful!!!

day 14 quick doodles

i imagine ninaa and dusky (in the left doodle) love climbing and chilling in trees. and bull (in the right mini doodle) just walks around the city downtown.

ninaa was inspired by bears! dusky was inspired by nature (her name was brainstormed from being out in nature and the sky) and was created as a nature-loving girlfriend for ninaa. bull was inspired by responsible police officers and was created to be dani's girlfriend haha. small ramble today, i'm pretty tired haha

day 13: inktober and three doodled memes!

terrible quality haha. i could not do both challenges in one drawing, so i had to split them up. (also shhh, i know it's technically past midnight to the next day, but i'm counting this as day 13, not day 14!!)

meme on the left is ninaa as the yelling seagull meme haha. the second one, four panels in the middle, is ninaa tossing a paper with the words "be nice to others" into the fire haha. and the third one on the right is dani with the drake no meme. dani says no to her bf and says yes to other guys 😂😭 i love my ocs so much!!

day 12!

i didn't have a proper table so it's a bit unsteady LOL. very couples based because that is what i have decided will be a happy future for them :)

i used two definitions of remote! when i'm stuck due to topic inflexibility, i try alternate definitions haha. the doodle on the left is ninaa and dusky in ninaa's remote, faraway wilderness home. i imagine ninaa becomes a nice smiley person and the two get married in the future. the small doodle on the right is dani and bull using the definition of unlikely to happen haha. bull isn't the most touchy guy and dani often does not spend much time with bull 😂😭💔 it's unlikely their relationship will get better unless i make a major change LOL. i promise i love my ocs though!! 😂

day 11, hell yeah!!

keeping up with the daily art consistency! it went pretty well considering i haven't drawn animals in a while. all my inktober doodles are human haha. i love love the wet fur ruggedness look!! the eyes didn't really work (should have been smaller) but hey, it was never a good idea to draw animal eyes without practice for the first time with permanent pen LOL. it makes it look menacing, but it looks off in the drawing hahaha.

my oc ninaa (featured heavily in other inktober doodles) is based on bears!! she has long retractable claws and sharp bear teeth! i have yet to finalize if she can transform into a bear or not haha. but she's definitely a bear at heart! and she loves catching and eating fish ovvo

the majestic bear covered up all the space, so i didn't draw a dusk sky in the background (to represent my nature-loving oc, dusky!) but it looks great anyway!!

day 10 success!!

i used references well for once and it turned out great hahaha. this is ninaa!! she was featured in many other of my inktober doodles, you might be familiar with her already LOL. she randomly likes, on impulse, traveling to popular american cities with nightlife and watching the streets for entertainment (specifically eyeing the girlies that walk by haha). she's very arrogant, cocky, and uncaring most of the time, but she can rarely be friendly!! she loves being angry and monstrous, because then she scares people when she unexpectedly acts normal. she's much softer, chiller, and more smiley around her gf, dusky! i keep mentioning her gf because dusky plays an important part in ninaa's personality development LOL. thank you for reading my blabbing about one of my favorite characters!!

day 9 it is 11 pm i am absolutely so tired i cannot draw LOL. my brain cells are fried. if i had more energy and focus, i would have drawn my 6 main ocs in a park with the sun shining and illustrated how they'd act in each other's company.

these are my ocs apex (upper) and grave (lower)! they are in a romantic relationship and have been engaged for 2 years. just like with my other ocs, i love them!! they're so awesome. alright i'm too tired to blab about it more. when i wake up next morning and see what i typed i'm gonna be like "wtf 💀" 😭😭

day 8!

took some time, but here is ninaa at the lakeshore watching the sunset! the highlights/shading was a bit difficult for my scribbly style, but it works! i'm pretty proud of it!

ninaa dislikes most people (exceptions include her gf)! that's why she's sitting by herself peacefully. she finds that people annoy her and get in her way. she dislikes when people touch her. ninaa also dislikes loudness, which comes with people. basically, she loves everything peaceful and natural, and dislikes most things opposite LOL.

ahhh pen was slipping all over the paper, creativity not cooperating today haha. oh well, good days, bad days!

day 6 really quick doodle!

this is ninaa!! she's one of my top favorite ocs! she was born in remote canada, moved to an american big city at the age of 4, frequently went with her parents on trips to japan whenever possible! her parents often left her alone with giving her the basics of what she needs so she learned how to be independent quickly. this doodle is of her as a happy young teen walking on the streets by herself.

also close feeds but i'm very much riding the hayley kiyoko high right now!! i love her dedication to normalize wlw relationships in her music videos!! like i know i'm nine years late LOL but she's such an inspiration to me!!

this is my oc dusky!! you can see her drawn in day 2 for new oc! she's redesigned because originally, she had blonde hair, grey eyes, hoodie!! now she has brown hair, brown eyes, more stylish outfit—long coat!

i imagine in this drawing, she's birdwatching or wildlife observing with her gf, ninaa! dusky turned a bit and looked over at ninaa because ninaa was staring affectionately, then dusky gave her that little cute half heart with her hand!! they're so cute i love them so much 🥰🥰

keeping up the consistent art grind 💪 but man, was the prompt "exotic" hard to work with! decided to go with an alternate definition, "of a kind not used for ordinary purposes or not ordinarily encountered." —Oxford Languages

under-appreciated oc, kuroo! he's a 32 year old guy, but mentally, he's a happy, goofy, and innocent kid who loves playgrounds and kid stuff! (i cannot draw older adults LOL they all end up looking like kids :'D) he's so wholesome and cute and playful and makes me smile!! i don't have much story on him, but i love him nonetheless!

day 3 drawing!!

i did some unplanned funky perspective?? note to self: never do perspective without sketch or plans LOL. it's okay, i guess! not particularly happy with it, but i guess salvaging art (turning off looking art into decently good art!) is a skill that i got to work on in this piece!

this is my oc, krypt! he was one of my first ocs and i became obsessed with him way back then. he's one of my old, now retired ocs! i no longer think about him because he's been through and has finished my interest curb, now i focus on newer ocs! i can only guess how long ago he was created, perhaps 4 years ago?? he's from so long ago that it's out of my trackable history haha.

how come there are people named after some months but not others. like the names march, april, may, june, july, and august are all relatively used (just guessing from personal experience). but nobody names their kid january, february, september, october, november, or december. this isn't fair, i demand month name fairness 🗣️ /j
