Hey, I was about to start an Indeedee shiny hunt, and I was just wondering (probably irrelevant though) am I only allowed to get one gender if I do, I'm just curious if the other gender breaks the chain or if I can get both during it? I was simply curious, as a few other people consider them two different pokemon.

hatching male or female indeedee does not matter! as long as it's the same species (the pokemon's name is indeedee), it will not break your chain!

besides, you cannot tell the gender of indeedee in the eggs (because they're named the same thing! same pokemon, different gender sprite variations!)
