Outwardly friendly, Shōhei portrays himself as a shoulder to lean on and as someone to listen to in times of need. He's protective when it comes to others' happiness and well-being, yet caves instantly the moment he has to offer the same to himself. He is a man who thrives around other people, and is often the life of a party. A chronic charmer and a man of many passions, he only has the goal of seeing others smile, laugh, or have any sort of amused reaction to him and his antics.
And yet.. there seems to be something below the surface he’s not letting others in on.
His sense of identity is volatile; heavily reliant on what others believe of him. Desperate for approval, Shōhei will do nearly anything short of harming other people just so he can form an idea of who he is. He’s detached from his sense of self; willing to be reckless and not putting in much thought if it means that people will think about him.
