Sandevi dug deeper in the box and found a pokedex and 10 other pokeballs. there was also a note attached to the main pokeball (the same as danujay's) from professor maple
"Eeeeeee!" Sandevi squeeled. "I finally got my pokemon!" she said, opening the pokeball. a tiny deino popped out. "Mrr?" it said, waking up from the nap it seemed to be in. "Awww, cute! a deino! I'll call you Hydra!"

"Vindle you've got a package!" someone yelled from downstairs.
"So noisy..." Vindle said, who was woken up by this yelling. Rolling out of bed, he shuffled his feet down the stairs and got the package from his sister.
"It's from some kind of lab." his sister said.
"Lab? Am I being used as a test monkey or somethin'?" Vindle said, opening the package and finding the note.
"Eeeh... blah blah dex.... blah blah ball.... gym... I got nothin'." Vindle said.
Then noticing the Pokeball, it was almost like a lightbulb went off.
"Oooooh! I remember now. I signed up for this journey thing and picked some kinda shield thing. I packed yesterday, too, and said bye to mom and dad yesterday since they're working all day today." Vindle said.
"You did say something like that yesterday..." his sister said.
"Well, at any rate, I gotta get ready." Vindle said. Running back upstairs, he got all ready to go in just a few minutes.
"I can come, right?" his sister asked.
"Mm, you'd have to ask mom and dad 'bout that. But if you can come I'll be sure to stop my journey so you can catch up." he said. "Well, I'll see ya later!" he added, running out the door with the things he needed.
He let Aron out to walk along with him.
"Hey little guy." he said, attemptig to pick up Aron.
"H-heavy..." Vindle said with no success. How could a tiny Pokemon weigh so much?
