hi if you're reading this

i found this game because i get really bored at my office job, and need something to fill my time while i'm waiting for more work stuff to do... i googled "pokemon game in browser" and was expecting to play like sapphire or emerald for the day, but i found this website instead. and now, a little over a month later, i'm addicted.

during the 250K user celebration 4x dealio, i was super lucky to grab a ditto from the lab. i think i was online for a full 12 hours that day. i almost did a backflip when i saw that ditto rarity on the egg.

i thought oooo i can finally shiny hunt because i can make pairs more easily. i decided the first shiny i want to hunt is exeggcute, because i want those golden eggs. :-)

but - i am a goof. and i thought the pokeradar just kept count of your eggs and wasn't necessary... i figured i don't care to know exactly how many eggs it took. i bought the hard egg radar chip so i could find exeggcutes in the tall grass to get that extra egg every so often. i think i hatched a good 20-30 eggs before i decided to read the wiki and found out NOPE the pokeradar is what gives you a chain!!!!!!

how silly of me. but that's okay. i have a lot to learn and that's part of the fun.

so my current goals are:
- 150k pd to buy the pokeradar lol
- shiny exeggcute
- complete gen 1 pokedex
- badge set 1 and 2

oh so i bought the pokeradar and it doesn't come charged???

that's kind of bonkers

so another 50K to go
