How many Rowan Quest in total?

I've asked my friends how many Rowan quest are there in total.
And they told me that there are only five Rowan Quest is needed to complete in order to get the Rowan's Best Friend Badge. (They're senior players and They said they're not sure if there's some update after they got the badge)
However, I still hadn't got my badge after I got 5 golden pokeballs.
Is there an update so that the amount of Rowan Quest increased?

There are only 5 quests that reward
the Golden Pokeballs, but there are a few others needed for the
badge. After collecting the 5 Pokeballs, Rowan will construct a
Time Portal, which will give you a Shadow Mewtwo (event) egg. There
are a few more quests after this, the last of which is a Dragonite
contest against Oak.

I have 5 golden pokeballs for a long
time but never got the shadow mewtwo egg, or any other Pokémon
level up quest!

Visiting the Lab on Mondays has a
higher chance to trigger a quest. This chance resets every 15
minutes.

Does that mean that technically
speaking you should come to the lab every 15 minutes just to check
if there's a new quest?
