One night, oneshot, completely random :3
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Private RP → One night, oneshot, completely random :3Soel gave an nod of acknowledgment to the other. Out of everyone here, he probably respected Atticus the most. Him being the quietest probably contributed a reason why, but mainly, out of everyone here, they just understood each other's ideology the best.
Soel resisted the urge to grab Mew by the hair and swing her around, and instead, he carefully brushed his own hair back, as he just as awkwardly stand across from Atticus with his arms crossed.
Though, as he was awkwardly staring at the other, Soel can't help but notice how pale Atticus is. Not just skin, but like overall paleness.
Sighing, Soel took out his cracked pocket watch and threw it at the other, while looking off to the side, awkwardly. "Here catch. Consume it, and take it as a apology gift of needing to handle these two baggages." Soel forgot that they were supposed to be enemies, and be fighting eachother to death right now, and not just.. chilling... and helping eachother out.
He kicked the broken pocket watch away. As it skittered off, he looked Soel up and down.
“Every time I see you and Mew, I’m reminded of how incredibly young and idiotic you two are compared to me and Shirin.”
“Of course, Mew seems to always be changing and getting older. Maybe her true form is a withering hag. Isn’t that wonderful to think of? You and she are the villains in this life.”
"Besides. The times when we were all friends have long passed, Void-scum."

"Hah..!"
Soel scoffed, how could he forget, now matter how much they crossed paths, there was no way any of them could get along. Afterall, they belonged in two different sides. One pair was in the limelight, while other is fated to eternally bask in the darkness.
"You're right. It is quite amusing to think of it. I wonder how would the public think when they found out that one of the shining hopes of the empire turns out to be a rude jack@ss huh? Now that would make it onto the trending news for days on end!" Soel sneered, and laughed with contempted. How could he forget that he was the villain of this show? How naive of him..!
With a snap of his fingers, his cracked pocket watch appeared back into his hands. Whether the other wanted it or not, it was still an expensive piece of crap.
Shirin tossed her head back dramatically, letting loose another laugh. She shot a few more arrows in Mew's direction, playing with the antihero as opposed to actually harming her.

Atticus walked forward towards Soel.
“Besides, the empire won’t hear anything if you’re dead.”
With a quick move, Atticus pinned Soel to the ground.
“Respect your elders, even if they’re five years older. Now, don’t move, I’ll try to take the rest of your vital color as gently as I can.”
"My oh my! Respect my elders? To hell with that! Perhaps this elder is losing your spark if you forgot that your powers are 100x less effective against me." Soel's eyes glowed like molten gold in the shadows of the sun, as he crackled out a laugh, very fitting of a villain.
"Oh my, you must have drank so much alcohol that you actually blacked out if you forgot about this Atticus." Soel tsks, and grabbed the hand that was holding the knife into his heart, an ripped it out. There wasn't even a grunt of pain from Soel, instead he hummed, and tilted his head back with a face of relaxation.
"Heard of photosynthesis perchance?"
As soon as Soel said that, Soel eyes glowed molten gold, and the wound on his heart rapidly healed, as if it wasn't there in the first place, and the color in his face reappeared.
“How about I take the light away and leave you in the dark? I’m not as moronic as you make me out. I got to be the icon of the empire for a reason.”
His prosthetic arm whirred and whizzed, jagged blades emerging.
Soel shrugged, before smirking.
"Unfortunately for you, Mr. Elder, That wouldn't work either."
Soel swang the cane back and forth like a weapon leisurely. His previous naiveness was gone, what came back instead was the cold gaze of a master criminal.
"Ah yes.. being in the spotlight. I wonder how the empire would feel once their icon has disappeared from the world once and for all hm?"
Soel's dark brown hair fluttered in the wind mysteriously, it almost seemed to look black in the shade when compared to his healthy tanned skin from long exposure in the sunlight. But unlike the sun, that can't shine even in the shadows. Soel's eyes glows brighter, almost ominously as he rubbed the crystal head of his cane with a lofty smile on his face.
“I’ve disappeared before, and I always come back. So are you going to peacefully surrender?”
"I don't think that's how an elder is supposed to treat an junior, especially with such petty tricks.. right Atticus?"
Soel rebutted, with his gloved hands reached up and gripped the hand near his neck, almost cracking the other's bone. With his half-lidded eyes, he gave an wide smirk to Atticus.
"So make me surrender. I dare you."
Despite being the shorter of the two, with Soel needing to tilt his head upwards slightly to even make eye contact. In terms of confidence and skill, he isn't any shorter. Especially when he is acting like he is on the higher ground.
“Submit.”
Atticus has the tip of a blade pressed up against the base of the other’s neck when he whispers it in Soel’s ear.
His foot was placed firmly on Soel's lower back, Atticus didn't intend to let Soel escape.
After sorting through her things, she took on the new appearance of the dude Freyr, who she happened to have a picture of for blackmailing purposes. She found the face slightly uncomfortable but well, stealing identities was her forte and this might have an interesting effect on Atticus. With that, Mew went back to where Soel was being stepped on by Atticus.
“Atticus… is this appearance of that one certain love interest of yours you’ve had before?” Mew asked, mockingly
“How do you… I thought you couldn’t do guys.”
Atticus’s breathing was beginning to get labored. In his stomach was an eruption of butterflies and quick memories of the nights Atticus had spent with Freyr.
He calmed himself and raised a shaking dagger at the wretched imposter.
“Get out of that form.”
