This issue has been brought up a lot recently, leading to quite a bit of conflict. I see two perspectives:

1. Constantly visiting blocked profiles is unnerving to users, especially if they are uncomfortable

2. Blocked users are unable to communicate anyway, and there is no harm in visiting profiles since the information is public anyway

Possible improvements to the blocking system aside, these different opinions are worsened by a perceived confusion on the rules. Users have expressed that they have faced consequences for this behaviour. Conversely, the blocking users see continued visits and think that nothing has been done. Since there are real site consequences for this, any details should be clarified in the rules.

An update to the rules which specifies whether this behaviour is against the rules, and if so, advising the frequency which could be considered harassment, would clear up the confusion on both sides. Thanks for your consideration!

To clarify: Is this question still relevant?
As of August 2023, blocked users can no longer see your private profile (only the public guest-view) and don't appear in your "Recent visitors" list any longer. So is this resolved?

Technically, it's resolved, since now people don't know if blocked users are visiting. Any further discussion would be related to whether blocking should hide more than the public view and isnt relevant. So, resolved I guess?
