Hi! I'm not entirely sure this is a bug or an issue with wording, but I'm currently at the fifth task of the Raylong quest. I started this quest like normal by levelling a Starly I hatched, like the quest says. But once I caught this shadow Misdreavus , which was higher level than the Starly, it reverts to that as the strongest level. I am aware that the Raylóng quest overrides the pokemon you're currently training if you obtain a higher leveled one. But the quest specifically mentions needing to hatch an egg and level up a Pokémon you get from that, not shadow pokemon:

In order to survive hard times, you need a reliable partner.
Hatch an egg and train it to Level 100.

Concidering this, I think this is either a bug or an issue with how the task is formulated (if you just need to level up any pokemon to lv 100, it should state that instead)

Sorry if I'm wrong and all of this is actually intentional! Feel free to remove this post if it isn't an actual issue.

This quest was implemented before the Shadow Radar was even a thing, so the wording is outdated.

It probably means 'your OT', because back then the only pokémon with your OT were hatched from an Egg.
