She waited for the newcomers to introduce themselves. They stared
back at her. Oh. Perhaps people did things differently here in
England, the bland social pleasantries of America replaced by
something else. It was almost enough to make Aspeth doubt herself,
but she ploughed on anyways.
"I hope I'm not intruding, but you did sit down next to me." Her
voice was colored by a slight southern accent, the only indication
of her bayou homestead. Aspeth had taken great care to dress like
an English witch.
"Yes, I'm American. My family lives in New Orleans, Louisiana. It's
in the southern part of the country. What about the rest of you,
what are your names? Where are you all from?"
Aspeth was genuinely curious about her fellow classmates. She
wasn't sure how old they all were, but she would take friends
whenever she could get them.
Eris heard this commotion a few carts down before she closed the
door to her cabin. After ensuring everything was secured, she
removed the hood of her cloak, revealing herself to be a Shiny
Froslass. She put the cloak away and took a seat...
Marina hopped along the aisle, humming happily as she took in the
sights and smells. It was so different!!! She heard some voices and
perked up. Maybe this was her chance to make new friends for the
school year!

Electris: I’m Electris. I come from near Canada. I’m this kid’s
brother. *He nudged Axel*
Axel: YOU WANNA- *Vortex glares at him* Oh riiiiiiiight. Uhh,
aaaanyways. I’m Axel. I’m Sylvia’s sister. I’m from the Eevee clan,
which is….somewhere. Possibly New York.
Sylvie: Hold up. I’m American? IM FROM LONDON, IS THAT IN AMERICA?!
NO. IM BRITISH!
Well, they certainly seemed chaotic. They were either all siblings
from New York, or demons from London... Aspeth really couldn't
tell. Tactfully, she decided to ignore their arguing. Although,
their squabbles seemed much more affectionate than the arguing that
she was used to seeing.
She especially liked Sylvie, as the brown haired girl seemed to be
called. She had an energy and dramatic flair that Aspeth admired.
She repeated the names over and over in her head, committing then
to memory.
And the other Eevee who hadn't introduced themself was apparently
also a demon. Was she the only human here? When she had been told
that Hogwarts was different, Aspeth hadn't expected it to be this
different...
"A pleasure to meet you all. I'm assuming you all are returning
students? I'm transferring as a seventh year."
Marina paused when she heard the beings in the nearest cabin say
words like 'don't bleed', 'murderer', and 'rip your head off'.
Maaaayyybbbeeeee she should pass this group......
Eris was in her cabin...

ꡖꡇo... Who am I?
They were strange. Even Aspeth, who had been called every nasty
iteration of the word strange (as well as inventive insults based
upon being queer and solitary) would consider this group of beings
as out of the ordinary. They were also transfer students (she
assumed), yet they all knew each other.
They were lucky then. To start a new life alone was hard. She was
forced to remembered that fact every time she had walked into the
dingy Leaky Cauldron room that had been her home for the past few
weeks. Shaking herself mentally, Aspeth disentangled her thoughts
from reality.
"Nice to meet you, Loneliness." She said kindly.
Aspeth tried not to let the group's discussion worry her. Murderers
were no joke -- she should know. Glancing out the window, still
feeling lonely within a crowd of people, the sound of footsteps in
the corridor reached Aspeth's ears.
"I... I am. I'll admit that." Aspeth looked at Lone intently. "And
I'm assuming you are too. But, if you don't mind me asking, what is
the story behind your name? Loneliness. Lone. It seems
interesting."
Aspeth tried not to be surprised at the fact that Midnight could
transform into a wolf. She nodded slightly, rolling with it. They
were clearly all skilled at magic. The footsteps in the hallway had
slowed, but they seemed to be moving on anyway. Aspeth tucked a
strand of hair behind her ear. She felt slightly uneasy with the
amount of chaos going on around her.
