Support, it looks unappealing to have other person’s name when I want an OT Pokémon, putting it on family tree would be nice, good for both OT collectors and those who like this feature👍

I hunted a shiny Cyclizar-- once and know what? One of my shiny cyclizar I hatched have an other person as the breeder and I hate it,it looks like I was just lucky and not hunting it with hard work 😭
Please remove this feature .....

This suggestion is a needed addition. Currently, most OT hunters no longer have the option to use tallgrass past chain 40, since any shiny mega then would have someone else's name.

i think it would be nice to toggle it or to move it to the family tree. i personally like to reach out to people who are, for example, doing an event shiny hunt of the pokemon im hunting, i get all their eggs and i think it is fun. i like being able to see the original breeder, like if there is a rare pokemon on the auction house, i might see if the breeder is/was shiny hunting it or has more that i can directly negotiate for. there are alot of uses i have for the breeder (it was here since i signed up) but i can see how it is an issue and i agree that it would be nice to create an alternative!

Not total support. I would like to see who has bred the pokemon.
However, i agree it should be moved, like you suggested, to the family tree page. I also agree that lab eggs should not have it. They dont even have parents anyway.

I support Imbored's opinion, as I happen to realized my forgotten daycare egg that is now Yuki - my Mega Froslass - was hatched by another and sold on auction, and I happen to buy it back! I think it is special, what are the odds? But I have the same suggestions:
- It should be moved to the family tree page.
- The "Daycare Owner" and "Professor Rowan" thing - uhh maybe bring it back? I mean "Obtained from the lab" thing?

I also think that the breeder information can be kept, since some players like it or find it useful, but should be moved to the Family Tree page.

I'm honestly not feeling affected by this, despite being an OT collector. I mean, I'm still the original trainer - just not the original breeder. I'm also having fun with this update.

HOWEVER! I'm well aware, that perfectionist exist; I'm not one of them. I cannot feel everyone's frustration about it, but I can sympathy if I let it go extended. I will get upset on the other hand if the feature gets removed.

So I'm fine, if it's toggleable in the settings.



Family tree, toggles, etc. It's fine either way when I have it and the other users. But it shouldn't bother other users and spring them immediatelly into their faces like that.

I agree about removing lab eggs breeder as "rowan", as some cases truly makes no sense. he dreams about wanting to have legendary pokémon yet can't find any; it's literally part of his lore. But gifts Rowan or the Daycare owner specifially give the user can have the "Breeder: insert npc" since they are very obvious. and with the toggles / family tree thingy, they won't bother y'all therefore. a win-win.

edit: it's even canon Rowan is not the breeder of the lab Pokémon. Rowan as the "lab breeder" should definetly get removed. I mean, "Adopted from the lab" is enough of an indicator already to know from where the egg came from or am a wrong?

Although I feel for those upset by this, I do NOT SUPPORT, as I personally like this feature... Sorry :/

However, maybe there SHOULD be a toggle-able option in settings rather than forcing this upon everyone
