Gone RP
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Gone RPAshes and ruins are all that's left. Skeletons of buildings, husks of what was there before.
Can we say sudden? Not really. We all knew this was coming, the threat had been in the air for as long as the bomb had been under construction. But now?
It's real.
Athena huddled in her 'home'. She still couldn't believe all this had happened. It was just so quick... She shivered slightly, pulling her legs tighter together. She hadn't eaten in a long long time. Not that it mattered. There was no point in living anymore. Her parents were gone, her home, her world. Everything.
Let me tell you a secret,
The real monsters don't look like monsters~
She frowned, chewing her lip. She should probably go out to look for supplies, but was it safe? Was there radiation? Enemy soldiers?
"I wonder where Malachi is..." Those are the only words that could escape Spencer's mouth as the couple began to cry, holding each other tightly.
How did this happen?
Everything seemed to happened in a instant. What used to be a loud busy city, is now eerily quiet, not a sign of life can be seen outside in plain sight. Is this the doom of civilization?
People have been building civilization since the dawn of human beings, and now it was all gone in a instant, like a snap of a finger.
If it is, then he wonders why it hadn't dragged him along with it. Perhaps mother nature wanted him to suffer abit longer.
After all, in that span of a instant, his phone has been ringing nonstop, from the calls he'd gotten from the police station. Now, he didn't even bother picking anyone's call up, because he doubts that before the other person could speak a word, they'd just drop dead on the ground.
All life in them, will be drained out of them, their skins will become wrinkly, like a they're in their 80's, eyes will lose there light, and their souls won't be in this world anymore.
It truly was a fickle thing, why did nature decided to challenge humanity again?
Li Fengyu sighed, in the background of his apartment, in the living room the new channel was on, but the reporter was no where to be seen, but he knew that the female reporter, has experienced the same strange fate as everyone else.
It was truly a fascinating process, but at the same time, it made him wonder, what cased this? Surely not magic, Li Fengyu didn't believe in magic.
Kaori looked around her surroundings. Mostly crumbling ruins, a couple skeletons of buildings, not many people. The last one was obvious. When the bomb had blown up, it had taken a lot of the population there, and in the cities surrounding. And the remaining people barely went outside. And those that did, well, most of the time, they didn't have anywhere to go. Like Kaori. Homeless, living on the streets, those two qualities were most of her life these days. Living on the streets, searching for edible sources of food. That was her life now. And it was going to be like that. For a long, long, long time.
Kaori stayed in her little corner, where she made it 'homey', something that would help her stay there for a while without being seen. With special black curtains that she carried around, which were great for staying in the shadows for a while. And she was using them. To hide. For a while. Like she perfectly planned out without knowing.
As she covered herself up, she pulled out a book. It was old, worn down, and partially destroyed, but it had survived the bomb. And it was her most treasured item.

"...they were only children..." He said, his voice barely a whisper. He, of course, was referring to his two little sisters. Two small little bundles of joy that hadn't deserved a fate like that. Why did he have to survive, and not them? He sighed, and wiped his teary eyes. There was one thing his mother always told him.
"Don't mourn the dead, that'll only bring more sadness. Celebrate the lives they lived, and it will bring joy."
His sisters hadn't really lived a lot, as they were still children. But still, Theo managed a smile at the thought of his sisters. Making his way out of the ruins of his old house, he stepped outside, coughing a bit. The street he lived on used to be so busy... now it was like a ghost town. Actually, scratch that, it is a ghost town. Devoid of life.
He walked slowly past many ruins of houses, stores, and other buildings, they had all crumbled. The world felt still. Quiet and peaceful.
"...well...What now..?"
