After going and getting some food with Eve, Reyna headed back to her dorm, as Eve went to the woods to do… something.


Evelyn (Eve)
Eve, in fact went to the forest to look for fascinating plants and herbs, it was one of her favourite hobbies, aside from scavenging, she also practised her shadow travelling in the woods. She felt like she knew Reyna from… somewhere, but she couldn’t place it, she was sure that they had met before, wherever it was. After doing some practicing and scavenging, she climbed a tree, it was something Reyna and her both enjoyed, she looked at the school in the distance, and back to the forest, it was a beautiful sight.

Nova was already back in her dorm, asleep. She opened her eyes to see it was 8:00 AM. It was still dark outside. Pitch black except for a little light shed by the moon, high in the sky.

"Why isn't it dawn already?" She asked Caligo.
"WHAT!?" Caligo exclaimed. "ALREADY!? I mean sure, I heard it cycles and cycles ago...but I thought...I thought we had more time!"
Nova gave Caligo a death stare. She grinned sheepishly. "It's the prophecy." Caligo said in a tiny voice.

"WHAT!?"

Rumbling was heard outside.
"Get your knives and let's GO." Caligo grabs Nova and runs outside. A giant 10-legged ball of darkness stands there, tearing trees down.

"It's go time."

Reyna
Reyna heard rumbling in around the school, she also heard talking from the dorm next door, Nova’s dorm, which faded away. She turned towards the window and the view was so shocking she rubbed her eyes again and when the landscape wasn’t her imagination, she walked to Eve’s bed and woke her up. Reyna then shouldered her bow, a quiver of arrows and her two swords strapped to her other shoulder. Reyna rushed outside as a giant eagle, and saw Nova with knives in front of a ten legged creature, it was dark and gloomy, tearing down trees of the forest. In the dark black background it was only discernible because it was a darker shade of black than the night. Reyna lands next to Nova as a human and turned to her, “Any idea what is attacking? Does your ‘ghostly guide’ have any ideas? Does this relate to the prophecy?”
Eve suddenly emerged from the shadowy forest, she had shadow travelled.
Evelyn (Eve)
Eve was kind of annoyed that Reyna had woke her up, but when she saw the darkness outside, she wasn’t annoyed anymore. She brought her spear that turns into a sword with her, she shadow travelled into the forest close to where Reyna and Nova were talking, and approached them. “Reyna, who’s this? And what the he[lp] is that monster doing here?” Eve asks looking from Reyna to Nova

Kaylee woke up, confused at first. Remembering what had happened the day before, she looked at her hands, which were gloved. Plain evidence of what had happened last night. Looking outside of her window, she saw it. The ten-legged monster from her vision. She immediately opened her window and jumped out of it like the crazy person I developed out of my non-existent mental sanity :D. She held her katana in her hand as she landed gracefully on the ground. Katana in hand, she raced over to where the monster was, stopping in her tracks when she saw Nova, Caligo, Reyna, and an unfamiliar girl. The monster was looming behind them, yet two of the girls was taking the time to start a conversation. She tried to get their attention, to tell them that the monster was right behind them. But she was unsuccessful. As the monster went behind them to start the massacre, she threw her katana like a boomerang, cutting off one of its legs. Hopefully it's not like a Hyrda, who can regrow their lost limbs.

Reyna whirled around and saw Kaylee, the girl who had been with Nova. She had an arrow notched in her bow and fired it into the centre of its dark body. Then the arrow disappeared, it probably flew so deep into the creature’s body that the darkest of its torso swallowed the arrow while, Reyna couldn’t see if the arrow made any difference, but then she saw Eve preparing to through her spear. She held out an arm to stop her. “Not yet Eve, let’s see the reaction of the monster first.”

The monster began leaking white blood from it's missing limb. But soon, white turned to black and 2 tentacles filled the spot of the missing one.

The now 11-legged creature shot Reyna's arrow out of it, and into the dark abyss of night.

Nova turned to Reyna. "This IS the prophecy." She said, looking at the monster again.

It simply absorbs Sobble's rockets and shoots them back at him.

"Physical attacks don't seem to hurt it!" She notices aloud. Nova rubs the now-glowing gems on her knives. "But I'm gonna try anyway!" She yells running to stab it. It gets a white slash that soon fades back to black. She impales it with the knife all the way, then pulls it back (using the finger hole on the specalized dagger/knife). It has 2 white holes on it that don't close. Strangely enough, the holes are the PERFECT size of the blue and purple gems.

Eve looked at Nova and then Sobble, then to Reyna. “This monster, is made of shadow, and if physical combat doesn’t harm it… maybe we’ll have to attack it from the inside. I can shadow travel and maybe get some luck so I could get inside him…” Eve said to the group
