Family Tree
Forum-Index → Bug Reports → Resolved → Family TreeEdit: thank you CatLady for pointing out that I am, in fact, an idiot. Please ignore part 1
Part 2: You can see the shiny-ness of an egg before it hatches, as well as what the pokemon will be. Unsure if this is a bug or a feature. Currently have an unhatched shiny Snover (that will be hatching soon so won't have this example forever), and 4 unhatched Solar Eevee in my egg box. Could cause possible exploitation of pokeradar without premium by storing eggs you know will be shiny in the egg box so you can keep the chain going.
Edit: Actually I just put the shiny Snover egg in egg storage to use as an example (and also to try to exploit it)
Part 2 : I've already confirmed it, which is why I told you to make a bug report about it.

Shiny pokémon get a star next to them in the Family Tree so others can see that's a shiny.
Eggs that haven't hatched yet, but will hatch as a shiny, will show up as a hatched pokémon with a star next to it in the Family Tree.
Edit - While the above happens, it seems to only work on "normal odds" shinies. I hatched a shiny Pichu from an Egg that showed up as non-shiny in the Family Tree, which I'm guessing is because of the Shiny Boost from the Fountain I currently have.
[Or Riako could've fixed it, not sure. Keeping it here until Riako can confirm or deny]
