Kaori turned to follow Lucinda, but looked back at Athena with a form of despair in her eyes. This is totally not a special trick she does to persuade people. She looked at her, and only blinked once.

Athena just narrowed her eyes and turned back to the battle, slashing down more soldiers. If she was going down, she was taking them with her. Hopefully not until she found out what was with the thought disappearing though.

Kaori looked back again before going on top of Lucinda. She put her katana away and looked back, again. Hopefully, Athena would be all right with the masses of guards. Soon there would be reinforcements coming in...

The guards seem to have figured out her target, and were all massing in front of her, blocking her path, and forcing her to slash a path, which closed again as soon as she made it through. Now she was trapped with her back to the wall. But she did find something. Was that a portal gun? Shoving it into her pocket, she got ready to slash another path.

Kaori looked back once again and saw Athena against the wall. She quickly scribbled a note saying 'I'm going down to Athena!' and jumped off like the crazy person she is. She quickly used Flower Breathing Third Form: Camellia Ascension, which let out a powerful barrage of upward sword strikes. Her attack led the guards away from Athena, and to her.
