Kaori slapped her forehead. “Lucinda, let’s just go somewhere else and then where people won’t be following us, spying on us, and threatening us.” She said, glaring. Why had all the other people come here? And they were being so loud. “Come on, we can tell Athena later” she said and hesitantly put sheathed her katana.

Emiru felt Lucinda’s intimidating glare and slightly gulped.
Although she didn’t show it physically too much, she was easily intimidated by people.

Kaori looked back, and glared darkly. As she looked in front of her again, she brandished her katana angrily. People were butting in everywhere, not allowing secret meetings. And what was with Julius and Emiru? Just following them like that? And now insisting that they be involved? Why couldn't they keep their nose out of other people's businesses?

She pulled out her transmitter and transmitted a Morse Code message to Athena. Lucinda nodded approvingly and suggested: “how about we split up for now, make it less obvious.” Lucinda yawned suddenly turned into a cat. She turned back, her silver diamond ♦️ Mark on the side of her neck glowed faintly. She blushed (not what she does often) and brushed off the cat fur off her hair.

Kaori nodded and jumped down the tree. She leaped gracefully through the trees, until she reached her favorite bench, where Taro was sleeping. She sat down next to the cat, and stroked his fur softly. She hummed a soft tune as she stroked his fluffy fur. It was only 1 am in the morning, and everything was so quiet and peaceful. Afterlife days were always loud, obnoxious, and crazy. She always preferred the night, where things were a little quieter and peaceful. But this night, however, seemed a bit too peaceful for any normal night, even in the human world. When she used to be alive, nights were still almost as crazy as the daytime, and here? This nighttime was not crazy enough.

Lucinda nodded and watched as Kaori darted away, she turned into a Siberian Tiger and walked on a path through the trees. Her silver mark shimmering on where you would put a collar on a dog’s neck. Lucinda would walk the woods alone on some days when she was bored.

It seemed like the other ghosts didn’t want her to team up with them, so Emiru decided to think of a different way to get out.
