Diving into the air vent, she quickly ran through it, knowing that Chrono's portal had just missed her by an inch. Her wing hurt like hell, but now wasn't the time to slow down. Sprinting through the vents at full speed, she burst out in time to see the reinforcements pouring into the garden.
Sighing, she made sure her hood was as low as it could go before leaping into action. The first few reinforcements were coughing after she set off a smoke bomb, the next to arrive met her sword, and the last ones hadn't even reached her when she flew straight up, hovering above them. She wings caught the moonlight and glinted silver, she winked at the assembled crowd and flew away into the night.
That was the first unsuccessful heist so far. The whole thing had been a trap from the beginning. The Smiths hadn't overtaxed anyone, the vault was built to be empty and easily accessed. And her wing... Her right wing had an ugly gash in it, dark red against white. She had no idea how to treat a wing, she'd never met any like her, and she'd never hurt her wing before. She was completely tired out from the events of the night, so was kind of lax in her routine check to make sure she wasn't being followed. Hastily bandaging her wing as best she could, she went to bed.

He was just in a daze he saw a lil birdie with a broken wing. 'Uh.. That's not good, she's probably gonna lose that thing if she doesn't get a professional to treat it, and looking at her, she doesn't seem to know one.
Ayran, without a sound, flew after her, watching her pitifully bandaging the wing. He shook his head, that's not going to work. Since Ayran was feeling nice today, he secretly went inside, and grabbed a couple things from his bag, undid the bandages, applied some ointment on her wings, and rebandaged it, this time much more professionally.
After he was done, it was almost dawn, he sweatdropped, 'I wasted so much time.. dammit-'
He quickly grabbed his stuff, removed the evidence, and flew away.
Getting up, she searched every corner of her home, every route in the tunnels, for a clue who they were. But she found none. Whoever they were, they were good at covering their trail. A wave of panic seized her. She had gone to bed in her caper costume, which meant it wouldn't be long before they figured out that they had found the home of The Lady in Red. And they knew what she looked like, would they make the connection to Phoenix as well?
