Phew. He hadn't been mad. Even she didn't like making the Headmaster seriously angry. Too bad she wasn't going to go to sleep. Not yet. A bit more wandering around would be in order. Pretending to go to her room, she leapt out the window into the gardens and prowled around a bit.

Now that she thought about it, that was extremely suspicious. Maybe recording it would be in order. Using her magic, she wrote a few words about the incident on a leaf and hid it behind a bush where she normally went when she wanted to be alone. Then she sneaked back into her room and went to sleep.

It was early next morning, Ayran woke up abit later than usual. But as usual, he got dressed in his usual turtleneck, and trenchcoat.

Ayran went to the cafeteria to get breakfast.

The usual routine. Hey, that was strange... She had no memory of the previous night. The second part of it, that is. She just vaguely remembered the gardens and something about her favorite bush? Probably just because she was tired. Brushing it off, she headed out to breakfast. And then she would go sit in her bush for a while before going to class.

Scarlett came to, chained to a wall. Whatever metal the collar and cuffs were made out of, it made her and her magic extremely weak. Pathetic...

The Headmaster walked into the training room, followed by a Kitsune. This one had bright white hair with white ears and three white tails, and she wore a long, artic blue gown.

"Are you sure about this? I know we do it every year, but with the way you described their behaviors... I'm not sure we'll ever find her - it's been 13 years, she'd be about 17 or 18 by now...." Queen Lily frowns.

"Don't worry, Your Highness. I can assure you they will be on their best behaviors...."

She'd finished breakfast. Now, time to enjoy the morning, hopefully without any interruptions this time. She padded to her bush, and what was that leaf doing there? It had writing on it? 'Strange door, fighting, Headmaster'? Then, the memories came flooding back. And she was going to investigate. There had to be something going on if the Headmaster was going to erase her memories.

Heading back to where she had seen the door, she found that it had disappeared. As expected. There was only one place left to search - The HM's study.

Athena opened the door carefully, making sure not a make a creak. Turning into her fox form, she slipped in. Phew, the Headmaster wasn't in here. She checked the drawers, they were locked, along with the wardrobe, and pretty much any possible storage space. Good thing she had experience in picking locks. ~~Don't ask how...~~ Using her claws, the locks were open quickly.

But there were only normal school related documents. She prodded around, but if there were fake bottoms, they were cleverly concealed or couldn't be opened by her. There didn't seem to be any secret passageways either...

After Lucinda got breakfast, she went for a walk and saw Athena, she followed Athena until she saw her going into the headmaster’s study: weird, really weird. She waited outside casually,ikr she was waiting for someone to hurry up.

Disappointed, Athena walked out. She would have to find another way to find out what was going on. And hope that she hadn't set something off. She might be an expert at locating traps and alarms, but the Headmaster, while annoying and a blockhead sometimes, knew some serious magic. He could have concealed something anywhere.

Jumping when she saw Lucinda outside, she sighed. Looks like they now knew what her fox form was. Transforming, she decided to act normal. "Hey Lucinda, what are you doing here?"

"I haven't seen Scarlett." Now that she thought about it, it was rather suspicious that she seemed to have heard the Headmaster speaking to Scarlett in that strange room yesterday night... But she couldn't be sure it was Scarlett, it could simply be her mind making things up to explain Scarlett not being here. But Scarlett was normally up already at this time, wasn't she?

From what Athena knew, Lucinda could be trusted. And it wasn't like she didn't have many secret hiding places around the school. She'd just have to bring Lucinda to one she rarely used. Grabbing the girl's hand, she whizzed through the corridors, past some early rising students who looked surprised as she sprinted past, and into a deserted hall. Tapping a seemingly random brick on the wall, she led Lucinda through a secret passageway, which ended in a clean, shining white room. There was a table and three chairs in the center, and a wardrobe in a corner. Apart from those the room was empty, and sort of looked like an interrogation chamber. And of course, it could be used as one. Should the need arise...

Now that she thought about it, the story was quite far-fetched. Would Lucinda even believe her? But she'd come so far, no backing out now.

"Yesterday night, I was wandering around, when I heard a commotion. I went to the spot, and found that there was a door which wasn't supposed to be there, and the noise was coming from inside. I opened the door, and the HM was in there, his back to me. He wasn't doing anything though, just standing there staring at the wall. He must have heard me though, and turned around. He was acting pretty normal, if you count pompous and annoying as normal. He sent me away, and erased my memories of what had happened. Luckily, I'd written a short note to myself on the event, and was able to remember the next day, or, today. So, you can probably figure out why I was sneaking around his study."
