I hatched a sentret and tried to release it, and later went back and just thought another egg had hatched. But this one pokemon, now a furret, refuses to be released. I even tried to release it with one of the newer sentret and the newer one was successfully released... but the furret stayed? Also tried to put the furret in a box and then release it but that didn't work.

this is arkoos (name inspired by MANDJTV), who i use for legendary rumble maps

and this is my shiny furret which i cherish

is it cause its holding an item?

Possible reasons why a Pokemon can't be released:
- It is in the Daycare
- It's on a rumble Mission
- (Not Sure, but I think holding an Item does not prevent release)

In case of ~~emergency~~ Plushie

Adding to Mirej's list of reasons why a pokemon can't be released:
- It is on your battle team
- It is on a GTS Trade or Auction House

I didn't find a (non-shiny) Furret anywhere, so I think this was solved.
