I was grinding for a while at Emera Beach in order to trade for a super rod. However, Shellder just did not appear to be showing up after several days. I even found rarer mons like arrokuda and Mantine. Have Shellders been made rarer or inaccessible with a good rod?

It’s just luck I don’t think there is any change as I do still get shelders if it was inaccessible how do you think others get super rod

I think they might have been made a little rarer than the other two, but not made inaccessible, then it would have been impossible to get a better rod. You'll have to keep fishing because it might take a LOT of grinding to catch three of em. ':)
