I'm having a blast with the new event, but I have a few questions. First, do the eggs in the prize booth break you pokeradar chain? I'm guessing it doesn't because the Bug-Hatching Contest, a fellow Emera Square egg source, doesn't but I want to be extra sure, since I already got the maximum shiny rate boost and don't want it to go to waste. Second, does catching the shiny Ducklett in Ducklett Fishing do anything? I've caught it quite a few times but it doesn't seem any more valuable than any other Ducklett. I want to know if I should keep going with it or just save some time and catch a more common Ducklett.

The eggs do not break your chain (as far as i am aware) as for the ducklet's at this moment of time it is unclear

Can confirm, eggs gotten from the Fun Fair do NOT break your Pokeradar chain. Which makes me feel a little dumb for not picking up a Retro Blastoise egg on day 1, but at least that means I saved up a bunch of tickets to try to shiny hunt a few of them. I have a feeling I can hope to get started on Retro Typhlosion when the next day rolls over, since I got the grass types and Zapdos right now.
