Hey there guys so I have played for a really long time, but just kinda casually here and there and not too active on the forum. But I'd like to play the game more, but I still have some things that are locked currently and I am at level 25. So I've come here to kind of ask what SHOULD I be doing, how do I progress the fastest? So far I just come on and click and collect eggs from the lab but I see that lots of people have shiny hunts and such!

So tell me what do you do on most days? How do I level up quickly so I can unlock the rest of the locked stuff? I've gone through the help section a but and I'm gonna dig through the wiki an such more but I was hoping that maybe some of the players could help provide some insight!

Like rumbling, I have only had the one able to go and rarely if ever do I get an item. So how do I collect gems or get more explorer bags to be able to get more?

Tell me everything you know! Thanks! If I think of any specific questions i.come back and add them as a separate comment

By trainerlevel 25, you should have everything unlockable by trainerlevel unlocked. (Except for being able to get MissingNo eggs, that requires trainerlevel 30 and the 'quest' is located in this anniversary thread for when you reach level 30.) For leveling up, this wiki page should help you out.

So, the places that are still locked for you are locked because you haven't bought an item that grants you access. For example, you need to buy the Pokeradar and Egg Radar from the Item Shop to be able to access the Pokeradar and Tall Grass pages.

As for rumbling, your pokemon can find up to 3 more Explorer Bags on rumble missions and 2 more can be received by completing the first and second badge sets. (Here's the wiki page for rumbling if you need to find more answers.)

You can also find gems in mystery boxes, by spinning the Plus mode in the Golden Slot, by finding them randomly in the Royal Tunnel, and by sending people plushies at the Dream World Shop.

As for what I do daily:
-> Adopt eggs (usually for the purpose of a shiny hunt)
-> Interact (in varying amounts depending on the day and what's going on in PH, events unsurprisingly spike up my interaction stats)
-> Pick up honey and milk at Route 53
-> Resend my rumblers
-> Complete Dream World tasks to amass more Dream Points
-> Farm and cook at the Berrygarden while also checking the Bulletin Board tasks for any worth completing
-> Play the Shadow Radar in hopes of finding the last few shadows I'm still missing
-> Get my free daily Lottery ticket and play some games at the Game Center (Mainly Treasure Hunt and Concentration)
-> Set up some of my excess shiny hunt pokemon in the Auction House
-> Check the forum (especially the Help subforum) for some unanswered questions to share my PH wisdom :b

A So the items still locked are four under the home tab, one looks like a mechanical punching arm then the one right under that and the two adjacent to those. I assume I must need some item I don't have then!

Thanks so much for your advice, I will check out the pages and definitely start adapting my daily play! By

The punching arm is the page where you can set up your battle team, You get access to it by buying the VS Seeker. The page right under the punching arm one is where you can challenge other users to battle that you also unlock by getting the VS Seeker. if you're not interested in trying out the simplified battling mechanics of PH, those two pages aren't a priority.

The other two pages adjacent to them are the Pokeradar and the Shadow Radar (for hunting shiny and shadow pokemon) and you predictably unlock them by buying the items with the same names. :b
