Survivor POV
You have just gotten out of your badly wrecked escape pod, adjusting to all the white snow around. Strange alien polar bears and penguins stare at you for a second, before running away.
You grab your PDA which seemed perfectly fine from the damage. It was missing a few files, and there seemed to be no info on this strange snow covered place you are on.
Researcher POV
You're off doing your normal work when you notice things falling from the sky. There wasn't supposed to be a meteor shower today so what is going on?
Dakota was staring at their board of theories and notes. They seemed to be getting no where, and Alterra was getting impatient. Maybe they should send a few members out to investigate the planet again for anything suspicious.
As they stared out of their office window of Outpost zero, they noticed something resembling shooting stars against the sky. That's odd, the weather report Alterra sent didn't say anything about meteor showers, and it was too early for wishing stars to appear...
Aurode was one of the first few to get out of their escape pod. The sudden need of escape did not like her at all, her hair being a complete mess and her breathing being deeper than ever. She grabbed her PDA to check which features were completely dead, which ones were missing a few things, and which ones were still working.

James was not fine. A strange laser, like the one from the rumors Tom told me of. Same thing? James groaned. "Eh, pretty sure this is broken..." He stepped out of the Lifepod. "Now, which number is this, and how much damage is there? Eh, doesn't matter, this looks like the arctic area Tom sends me pics of. I see a 'Pengwing', I think it's called, right there."

It took Alan around 5 tries to get out of his escape pod. During the decent it got slightly damaged so it refused to open. In the end Alan kicked the door down, scaring a group of strange alien penguins away.
"I did not sign up for this." He muttered, looking around. There was nothing but snow, snow, and ice. He noticed his sister Aurode doing... Boring Responsible things
