Be active, people who is active usually get more clicks, also if you spend some time in clicklists will help.
Making a lot of friends will help you a lot too

My personal tip is interact with the Online Userlist checklist frequently. Usually those people get back to you the quickest!

seconding that doing the online userlist is best! also if you run out of the online, i find that people interact back with me quicker if i do the "newest adoptions" unlimited list vs. the random one! good luck hatching ^_^

Clear online, returns and friends clicklists. Then the nearest adpots one.
