I went to open my Christmas gift and it said there was nothing in it.

Is this a glitch?

It’s not a glitch. The gift contained a retro egg. You’re unable to receive the egg if you had a full party when you opened the gift (so "nothing" was in it).
Unfortunately, you can’t re-open the gift, so the egg is lost ^^’
