Exactly, that's why I'm asking cause an egg hatched and the shiny chain didn't pop up on your userprofile and you keep changing you hunt on a whim

do you have the pokeradar thought? It's the 150k pd item in the emera item shop, in the Misc section.
did you buy the battery for 50k pd? Did you turn it on?

If you do have pokeradar, you need to turn it on and also you have to only hatch that species of pokemon or else it'll crash

Only eggs that are obtained from the Lab, the Daycare, the Gem Collector, the Safari, the Ancient Cave1, the Event Shop or found in the Tall Grass count for your chain.
