"Welcome to St Venti's School for the Magically Gifted, a place
where you children can learn to use and enhance your powers wisely.
My name is Khione Venti, your headmaster at this Academy. I hope to
see some wonderful powers being used and friends being made! Today
will be your day off, so you can explore the castle and get to know
each other. Your timetables will be given to you shortly. If you
have a Beast Form, you wll do Beast classes instead of P.E by the
way. Have an amazing first day," said Khione.
Jackie looked at to the castle in awe. This was her time to make
new friends and, maybe, find love! Jackie heard Miss Khione say if
you have a beast form, you will do beast classes. Jackie was
excited! She was a beast herself. It was going to be great for her!
DD listened to the welcome speech with slight sorrow. She was
thrilled when she was accepted, but felt like she wasn't meant to
be here. The only "powers" she had were high intellect, analysis
strength, and of course her servants. Perhaps she had powers
that hadn't been shared with her? She couldn't help her sigh.
Whatever...
DD decided to explore her new environment and observe the other
inhabitants a bit. The castle was quite large, so there was plenty
to see. Might as well start now and map out everything.
Fog stepped out of the carriage and took a deep breath. This was
it, the big day. He hauled his suitcase out of the mahogany
carriage and dragged it down the cobbled pavement. He grasped the
letter Khione gave him, containing his classes and house. He peered
inside it again, he was in Water house. Fog smiled, he liked
water. In fact, water was one of his powers. He walked up to
Khione, his gills swaying in the breeze. "Excuse me miss, where do
I go?" he asked politely. Khione smiled and gave him directions.
Everyone was supposed to go to their common rooms. Fog walked into
the castle, following the directions the Headmaster gave him and
walked into a large room, with blue wallpaper and a small library
full of books. Fog sat down on a red leather armchair and began to
unpack, waiting for the rest of his house to appear. He was excited
to make some new friends.
Checking her schedule, DD found which House she was in; water. She
briefly wondered how they sorted them, but shook the thought away.
No need to dwell on the little things. She quickly found the
section of the castle that held the five Houses and located the
door labeled 'Water'. Just in case someone else was inside, she
knocked before she opened the door and entered the common room.
The room was pretty large. It was covered with blue wallpaper. It
had a hallway which likely had the rooms for each person of the
dorm. There was a small shelving unit against one of the walls,
fully loaded with books. And at the side, sitting in a large
armchair, was another person. A boy, she noticed, with short brown
hair and pale blue skin. He had strange silver whisker-like
appendages on his face and a silver tail. "Axolotl." her
mind identified. She turned to the side and pulled out six chess
pieces from her pocket; three castles and three queens with cut-off
crowns. She tossed them in front of herself, calling out "Serve
your queen!" They morphed into humanoid chess pieces, dressed in
butler(castle) and maid(queen) uniforms, but the queen pieces had
misshapen heads. They immediately began to examine the new
environment, clean up the space, and organize her luggage into one
of the rooms, which was labeled 'Darling Desire'.
DD, satisfied with the efficiency of her servants, turned back to
the lone boy of the room. She suppressed a sigh, "No use beating
around the bush..." and walked over to him, sitting nearby him,
ready to get introductions over with.
A purple and pink limousine appeared. A girl with long black hair,
a long purple Japanese dress, and with a bowtie on the back of her
hair that was purple. She looked at the castle in awe, and looked
at at the letter she was sent and the classes she had to take, and
the house she has too share with. "Jackie..Ness?" Sakura said
confused. "That's me!" Jackie said, as she approached Sakura. A
girl with long dark brown hair, wearing a black turtle neck, and
wearing black heels that looked like boots. Jackie stood before
Sakura. "Hello, Miss Sakura!" Jackie smiled. Sakura blushed a bit,
but then shook her head. "H-hello." Sakura said. They both walked
into the castle, ready for their first day.
Fog looked up from his luggage to see a royal-looking girl, calling
to her servants. Fog watched curiously as they grew large and did
her work for her. He chuckled to himself, impressed. Fog rummaged
through his backpack until he found what he was looking for, a
small and battered boon about Ancient Greek myths, his favourite.
His silver tail glinted in the sunlight as it swung happily. The
girl sat next to him and Fog thought for a moment, he should try
and make friends right? He didn't know if the girl would think the
same about him, people often looked down at him because of his
unhuman-like appearance. Fog turned around, gills tensing, as he
attempted to make conversation. "Um..hello? How are you?"he said.
What a ptiful attempt at talking, he thought to himself.
The two girls walked into the dorm, and set up their stuff. Jackie
laid on her bed, letting out a huge sigh. Sakura sat down on her
bed, looking at her schedule. "You know, I love your dress," Jackie
said smiling. "It fits you very well! Sakura turned red for a bit,
then snapped out of it. "How can you blush already, you just met
her you fool!" Sakura thought to herself. "Thank you Miss
Jackie. I like your turtle neck dress too. It fits you well."
Sakura said smiling.
Nodding to the boy, DD spoke, " I am well, thank you. My name is
Darling Desire, but you can call me DD." she said. "As we are dorm
mates, it is best we at least become friends. It will certainly
make things more tolerable. What is your name?"
Rose was confused on where she had to go, and accidentally walked
into the dorm where Fog And DD were. "I'm sorry! I don't know where
my dorm is.." She said.
"My name is Fog, Fog Karaudo," Fog said nervously to DD He saw the
another girl walk in the wrong dorm. "Um, you should check your
map, it'll tell you where your dorm is," he said to Rose. He
glanced at DD quickly before walking to his room. "I'm going to
check room out, I'll meet you back here," he said to her and
left.
Fog opened the door and gasped. The room was full of water! It was
enchanted to stay in the room, so it didn't spill everywhere. Fog
laughed and swam inside it, the bed and furniture was a special ice
that didn't melt, and the rest was water. It was perfect! As a
bonus, his clothes didn't get wet, but the same couldn't be said
for his hair. Some of the decorations were a beach style, which he
liked. Fog was extremely happy with the room.
Nodding, DD got up and moved next to the girl, gently taking the
papers she had from her to help her out. "Ew, so kind to
others now, are we???" DD winced at the words, but focused
on the papers. She found the girl's name, Rose Velvet, filing the
information away and found her dorm name. Pointing it out, she said
"Here, you are in House Air." She told her where the dorm was
before curtsying to her. "Hopefully we will meet again. Until
then." She then walked down the hall, into her room.
Her room was adequate. A mixture of gothic and royal decorum. Her
servants had unpacked and set up all her things already. She
thanked them for their work and recalled them, putting them in her
pocket for a good rest. She sat on her new bed for a few moments,
grimacing at the emotions and thoughts swirling inside of her mind.
Maybe schooling would help her with this... Who knows what she
could gain from this experience?
Fog let out a loud whoop as he swam through his room. He relished
the refreshing coolness of the water. He closed his eyes and
created waves, sending him spinning through the room. Fog laughed
loudly, and through his laughter, ice spurted out of his hands,
evaporating quickly but cooling the water further. He swam deeper
into the seawater, his gills and tail swaying in the water. He
quickly went outside and brought his luggage inside the room, which
thankfully didn't get soaked. Fog thought for a moment and knocked
on DD's door, curious to see what her room looked like.
Fog stuttered nervously. "I j-just wanted to see your room." He
paused for a moment. "If that's OK with you," he added. Fog dried
his hair quickly with his powers, drawing the moisture with bis
hands into a small sphere of liquid and then made it vanish.
Fog stepped in timidly. It was very fancy, and suited DD perfectly.
"Wow...it really suits you ya know?!" He said, smiling. Fog looked
around, taking everything in. It was actually a really nice room
and Fog enjoyed the decor. "Wanna see mine?" he asked excitedly.
Fog gestured to DD to follow him and he opened his door.
Curiosity taking full control, DD followed Fog to his room. To her
surprise, it was filled to the brim with water! Her mind went into
analytical mode. "How is it the water stays in? Is it truly
magic? Does it have to do with his powers? Will we get power
like this here~? Does that mean Fog is semi-aquatic? He does
have gills so most likely yes. Is his blood still red~? His
room really goes with the theme 'Water' well. Oh my goodness! Oh my
goodness! Oh my goodness!! Pushing back her crazed mind and
dark thoughts, DD gingerly pressed her hand into the water in the
room. To her surprise and amazement, her hand stayed completely dry
despite being submerged in the fluid. She pulled it out of the room
and looked through the water around the room. Rather interesting
and neat, beach theme decor, icy furniture. She smirked at him, "It
seems you'll fit well in this house."
"I know right! Its perfect!" He exclaimed. In a brief moment of
excitement, he grabbed her hand and was about to take her into the
water, but he thought she might not want that and he let go, cheeks
flushed with embarrassment. "Sorry," he muttered and swam into his
room. "Can you swim?" Fog asked DD, curious about her and ready to
prank her if she couldn't. Little did she know he had some tricks
up his sleeve....
DD was surprised when Fog grabbed her hand. She'd never had that
sort of physical contact with someone who wasn't dead or dying...
She raised her eyebrow suspiciously at the question, but shrugged
it off. "I am capable of swimming, just..." She stopped herself
from speaking. "Why am I just giving off information about
myself to him?! I barely know him!!!" Clearing her throat, she
continued, "I am indeed capable of swimming. Why do you ask?" Her
suspicions were begining to swell just a tad bit. What was Fog
planning?
