I don't personally play either Undertale or Deltarune BUT I watch YouTube videos on the lore, so it's made things pretty interesting for me! :D

I was looking through my old sketchbooks yesterday and I found some of my Undertale drawings from the winter of 2015, it's amazing that it's essentially going to be an important part of my life for probably the rest of my life (Wish I was as cool as Toby Fox)

@Roly-Poly I’ve never used it either, but I did see what was left of it before they’ve permanently taken it down from the whole site (also commented in it, but then thought one wanted to use it anymore, so I didn’t go to it ever again). It was apparently once the only way for people to exchange their thoughts and ideas with each other and there would be events, voting, contests (before bug and beauty existed), while also having other important/exciting news as well—all of it was in a chat-room (posted by the existing mods and Raiko at that time). Now since it’s not assessable (or available) to anyone anymore, it now just serves as a important piece of nostalgia for many (veterans/very experienced) players who’ve experienced and genuinely enjoyed it. Sorry if this explanation is too long or it feels like I’m just rambling for too long for anyone who is/are/already reading/read it 😅. Feel free to comment what you think of this post and if I have the wrong idea of how the original Herochat used to work as I’m just summarizing up on what others have said about it (not anyone in particular) 🙂

It's been a while but I remember having a good time on it-- though now that I'm older I feel like I'd enjoy it more/be able to make a little more use out of it, haha

I read it, that's what it was, yep. As for how it was, well, towards the end of its life, it was sort of sad-- but before that I remember that it was pretty fun

For those that just want a summery of what was said about the original Herochat, it was apparently originally the only chat board for users to communicate with each other and getting updates or some other important/exciting news regarding the site at that time, but like what Iridescent said it started to not to get used a lot once more communication tools got added later on—summarized from long time/veteran players, sorry if this was an inconvenience for anyone else here
Just realized the post is still long 😓, anyways, let’s talk about something more interesting like why does it feel like the internet dislikes dead memes all the time even though they still make memes about them anyways
It’s just the internet being the internet, I guess 🤷‍♀️😅
