"There's not much to look at here, sir. We all share the same face."

“Look around. We’re one and the same. Same heart, same blood.”

"To me, you've always had a name."

“Today we fight for more than the Republic. Today we fight for all our brothers back home.”

"I used to believe that being a good soldier meant doing everything they told you. But we're not droids. We're not programmed."

"This ship is going down, and those soldiers, my brothers, are willing to die and take you and me along with them."

"You're a good soldier, Rex. So is everyone of those men down there. They may be willing to die, but I am not the one who is going to kill them."

The 371st legion, consisting of 9,419 clone troops and headed by Jedi Knight Kol Reddag, while often left forgotten, remained forever in the memories of those fortunate enough to work with them. With legions like the 501st, 212th and 104th, it's always been easy to overlook the several of hundreds of legions fighting in the war. The 371st happened to be one of them. As often expected with a bunch of "background characters," the clones of this legion are often assumed to be bland and unassuming. To any clone working as a part of this battalion, however, it was different. Anyone who was lucky -or unlucky- enough to meet this battalion would know. There was never a calm moment when you were with this cheery bunch. Each clone so wildly different, but still holding such fierce care for one another.

A found family is what some called it. So that's what they called themselves. Sure, they were, technically, family. But the point still stood. They made each other happy, they made all feel welcome. They drove most everyone up the walls. Just as family tends to do, they got into fights. Often ridiculous. There were quite a few infamous incidents, still whispered in the halls during down time. Though some of those clones may be gone, their memory lives on in the form of a wild tale, telling of a rather strange dispute. Due to the obscurity of the 371st, they didn't need to fight as many battles. They didn't have to fight battles to give others hope. Yet every battle they fought was smiles, hidden behind a steely helmet, painted in the 371st's viridian green colors.

No brother was ever truly lost. They lived on through the force, according to the word of their general. Most clones never fully understood what that meant, but it was a comfort all the same. If you passed by a soldier who had lost a close brother, it would not be uncommon to hear a certain saying. "Even as he did in life, he's watching you with the brightest grin on his face." The clones would often be reminded of old times, and they would continue to smile. They would bring that same joy to all around them. Things were okay in the 371st. They always have been, and will continue to be, thanks to the effort of all the clones.

The Higher-ups

QuoteThe General
Kol Reddag. A bright young man with rather vibrantly colored hair. The orange and yellow dyed hair has led others to sometimes refer to him as "Koi", which he gives a rather unimpressed look to in response. He is greatly exaggerated in almost everything he does. When it comes to fighting battles, Kol does his best to fight alongside his clones, often taking the risk for them. He doesn't ask to do the clones anything he would not do himself.

The Commander
CT-3919. Known by his name "Docent." His name came from a couple of rookies he had helped train, as they passed the name around it was eventually established that his name would be Docent. The commander doesn't seem to mind it however, instead choosing to embrace the name. He is a sight to see at first, his face marred with rather extreme burns. They can be found scattered around the rest of his figure as well. Before the creation of the 371st, he fought in another legion. Word is that he was all that remained of it after a rough battle. After his recovery he was placed as commander of the 371st.

The Rules
Show hidden content
Quote1. Follow all PH rules
2. This will be a semi-lit roleplay. I request that all posts are at least a paragraph long. Just for clarification this should he around 4-6 sentences.
3. I can deny your form for whatever reason I see fit. I will specify the reason and you can attempt to prove me wrong. Please don't bug me about it though. If I have seen first hand you typically don't post more than two sentences I may decline your form (though once again you can try and work it out with me in PM).
4. 3 strikes and you are out. I will be a little relaxed when giving out strikes, so don't worry about it too much. Do anything real bad and your out no matter how many strikes (though I doubt it will happen).
5. Please follow all basic roleplay rules. No bunnying, killing without perm, etc.
6. Do not try and take control of the roleplay, while the rp will be mainly focused on downtime and building character. So like, don't say they arrive at a planet or some monster boards the ship.
7. While this is Star Wars, please strive for a little realism. Don't give a character a life-threatening injury unless you want them to die. The medics aren't miracle workers.
8. Your clones cannot take any high positions, no captain or sergeants. Most they can do is "lead" their squadron, but only if the entire squad accepts it.
9. The password is "Jorso'ran kando a tome."
10. There is no limit to how many characters you make, just make sure you can keep track of them all.

Identification
Quote from DocentAn example is shown below, showing how to properly fill it out. This is to ensure that there is no confusion. After the first few mix-ups, the general suggested we find another way to fill out the forms. When filling out your form, and I cannot stress this enough, don't copy mine! I don't need any of you trying to steal my identity.

CT Designation: CC-3919
Position: Commander of the 371st
Name: Docent
Armor Design: A simplistic design of an Acklay painted on the helmet. Three tally marks on the left shoulder pad, seven on the chest, and one on the right shoulder. The wrist gauntlets are painted as well as the boots and knee plates. A kama is added with a dark green outline.
Distinctions: Large burn scar over the mouth traveling down the neck. Burns can also be found on the left hand and scattered around.

With the example above, it hopefully shouldn't be too hard to figure out your own. If any details on your file change, talk to me about getting it changed. We can't have any outdated information.

Additional Details
Quote from DocentThe general insists that if any questions ard had to bring them to his attention. (Feel free to ask any questions!)

Any quarrels should be solved peacefully. If you cannot resolve a situation through these means the general and I will not hesitate to help you fix it, and you might not like our methods. If you must, take out all aggravation in a friendly spar.

Patrols will be organized at the end of every month. Make sure you and your squad arrive on time for your duties.

Each trooper will be assigned into a squadron, if a new brother enters into your squadron you will be working and fighting with them. Welcome each new brother with open arms. Each squadron will contain nine clones.

Koiboi

CT Designation: CT-3952
